The media could not be loaded. I used these for a favor for my daughter’s wedding. We modge podged a cut out of sheet music from a hymn that was sung at the wedding with a stamped letter M and design. We added a magnet to the back and they look great and work perfectly. The wood is light but sturdy. Also, out of the 4 packages I bought, only 1 was cracked. There is a slight variation in size but it was minimal to me. I will definitely buy again for a craft project!

Looks good, engraves well. But super dry. Two pieces had split already for being over dried.A dip in mineral oil after helped.

Exactly what I wanted

I purchase these to give to my customers when they buy a Scentsy fragrance flower. They are perfect for keeping the oil off of surfaces in the case of an accidental spill.

I paint holiday ornaments on wood slices for my friends. The locally available wood is quite expensive and often not uniformly cut. These slices work great - all the same thickness and very little variance in diameter. Add two layers of gesso, sand in between and they are ready for painting. The only (tiny) drawback is the flaky bark that can fall off in small patches. However, a light coat of clear glue (Elmer's for example) will fix that. Drilling holes for the eye screws that will hold ribbon for hanging is very easy, but should be done slowly to avoid cracking. The merchandise fulfills all my requirements. Shipment also arrived sooner than anticipated. Satisfied with this vendor!

These are cute and I successfully made the craft I was making, but I definitely had to super glue bark back onto the sides of these on several occasions. It just falls off. I don't know why but the whole thing looks weird AF when a half-inch section of bark falls off. Its like natural...natural...natural...dowel rod material...natural...natural... anyhow, you get it. So you have to be prepared to affix the bark. This is obviously not "natural wood" as, again, the bark falls off in perfect chunks along the edge of the light inner wood. If that works for what you're doing then go for it. But if not, find a different product and hope for better. I got a small collection of bark at the bottom of the wood slice bag, sort of like confetti, so I was able to piece together the ones that came missing chunks of bark, but I don't know if you will be as lucky.
