Not Down, super thin. NO!
This is so thin it more of a spring coat. We live in Michigan, not even warm enough for fall. I highly doubt this is “down” either not sure why you have it in the title. This ain’t going to last... but not boxing it back up and driving 30 min just to return. I gave it 5 stars to make sure you’d see this review at the top ;) good luck.

Super cute and warm always looks new no matter how many times you wash
This is the second year I've bought these for my boys and I love them ,looks just like the picture machine washable and you can put them in the dryer without any damage. I can only recommend them 😊

Cute coat!
Depends on what size you order. I ordered 2 of the 3-6 month yellow jackets and they are REALLY cute, however, the inside lining of the jacket has this crunchy feel and sound to it and is really loud. I returned both of these. But, I also ordered one of the 9 month jackets, and it isn't like that at all. It has a soft lining and is very nice so I am keeping that one.

Not enough warmth for our winters.
Seems extremely flimsy. Would be concerned about washing it. Not designed to provide the warmth of a winter coat. Label indicates to outdoor temperature minimum of 50 degrees. Would be fine for warmer weather climates. I was fooled by the down "look".

made of tissue paper
This is in no way a winter coat unless you live in Florida. The material for this coat is incredibly thin. It was used twice then it ripped. Because of the way it's sewn it cannot be repaired. I didn't expect a super high quality coat but I did expect it to stay in one piece for at least one season. I gave it one star because the hood fits closely without blowing off. I ended up duct taping the rips so the coat could still be worn.

Worst. Zipper. Ever
At first I thought the zipper was broken. But the more I played with it, I realized the zipper is either just very cheap or incredibly poorly designed. It works okay going up and down, but if you get it to the top (like you want to do with a kid's coat) it locks and then gets stuck. And the tension from the stitching is insufficient to hold the zipper at the angle necessary to unstick it. You basically have to get your fingers behind the zipper and hold it taught yourself in order to yank it down; even with all that, it's still not Easy to get it unstuck. Imagine trying to force down a stuck zipper with an unhappy toddler IN the coat. That's all you need to know. Not worth the struggle.Otherwise, it seemed like a decent enough coat? Other comments had said it was paper thin, but the one we received seemed fine. Still, the zipper issue alone is a enough for me to walk away.
