Excellent! Programmability

My husband lost a second garage remote several weeks ago—that's two remotes within the past few months. We were hoping one of them would turn up. The struggle has been real, but the struggle is NO MORE! I programmed both of these new remotes in less than 30 seconds each. The instructions were simple and straight to the point. You get two remotes for about a third of what the manufacturer charges for one. Words can not express how grateful I am to this company. Thank you.To future reviewers: Please remember to mention the MODEL of your Genie garage in your review. That was a big determining factor before I decided to go with this product. I only found one former review for this product that mentioned having the same garage model as mine, and they were successful with programming their remotes.Note: Since both of my previous remotes are lost, I reset my Genie to clear out the old programming codes BEFORE programming the new remotes—a best practice for safety and security.Update (12/13/25): I'm happy to say that these remotes are still working well. I put one away for safe keeping (and as an emergency backup) so my husband doesn't even know the pack came with two. And, my hubby found one of the previously lost remotes which will now have to be reprogrammed with the new code.

Easy programming to setup. Works! However, after setup, I noticed there is a slight delay for the garage motor to open the garage door when pressing the button. Nevertheless, it works!

Easy to pair, just follow the instructions. The control range is shorter than original production, half of the time I have to drive very close to the garage to open it. Overrall it’s a good replacement if you want to save some money.

My opener was from near 1995. Orange just said intellicode on the side under the genie logo. Programs which was under the light cover next to the antenna wire just like all the ones on the YouTube videos. Pressed and held to erase all the old codes pushed once to program each of my two new transmitters one at a time. To transmitters! One for each car! Now I don't have to jump out of the convertible and unlock the truck just to open or close the door with my old transmitter. I've got to say, for the money, it's a sweet deal. Other people have complained about a short distance, but I don't need to enter my garage door like I'm Batman entering the Batcave. Frankly, if the transmitter works from a block away, how would you know if you didn't accidentally bump it and open it when you were leaving? I had a transmitter that could do that and drove around the block more than once to make sure the door was shut because of it. Short Haul is all I need.

My apartment complex wanted to charge extra for a replacement garage remote, so I bought these instead and reprogrammed it myself. It was way easier than I expected and worked perfectly on the first try.The remote connects without any issues, the range is solid, and it functions exactly like the original. Honestly saved me time and money compared to dealing with the office.If you’re in an apartment or rental situation and need a replacement, this is a great solution.

Got one to program instantly and works great. The second one I could not get programmed at all - while the red LED flashes, I could not get it to work. Too bad - because they're a very compact size when all you need is a single opener button.
