Baum Country Waterproof Windproof Cagoule Jacket Lightweight Folding Hood Zip Pockets

I am on my third jacket at the moment. The jacket seems to be very cheap compared to other similar ones and has been fine. Last year I bought the small which fitted me very snugly. I am around 40 inch chest with 14.5 inch neck, and it was fine for the summer but I could not wear a jumper or fleece under it because it would have been too tight. Unfortunately in haste I got the zip caught on the material (easy to do) and ripped it open, breaking the zip of course. The zip is plastic so requires a little care in operation. I now have a small size for summer and a medium for winter. The medium is quite a bit larger and much more roomy so it is easy to have warmer clothing underneath. The jacket is very light, easy to carry or tie around the waist, bears screwing up and throwing in a bag or on the back seat, and waterproof and windproof. The pockets are fine, stuffed with doggy bags or keys and can be zipped up. At this price if it lasts a season (which it has) then I am happy.

This jacket fits nicely. I have a 39" chest and the medium size fits well with enough room to wear a fleece underneath. It is longer on me than on the model in the advert (I am only 5ft 6" tall), but this is hardly a detraction from the overall fit and quality. I had to return a Peter Storm jacket from Millets online (too small), but they don't have a policy for exchanging goods, only for refunds. The Peter Storm jacket was £33 (an excellent coat) so having this one at about £12 is a bonus.

Rather a snug fit, okay with summer-weight clothing underneath, but no room for extra thick jumpers and jackets. If that is likely to be a problem, size up one. It is properly waterproof, and light to carry folded up when not needed, should one be lucky enough to have decent weather all day! Watch out for getting the velcro caught in your hair, or in the pile of woolens and the like. Good value for money.

This jacket has a good material, weight, and functionality. It runs large, however. I suggest ordering a size smaller.

bought a medium and fits my hubby with a jumper underneath. probably should have ordered a large. if you have a larger chest than 40 or a little paunch go for large. saying that it is a great length and very good quality material. the jacket is thicker than expected which was a nice surprise. hubby says is much warmer than his old jacket

I all ways get a xl but this was small fitting, so I ordered bigger size

A little bit tight could have done with a large guess I will have to loose weight excellent quality

This inexpensive, high quality jacket looks great on as well as offering impressive foul weather protection! Features a mesh lining at a fraction of the price you'd pay for it in an outdoor shop! I'm sold on this brand and so is my husband. We'll definitely be buying more Baum Country clothing in future!
