I'm a beginner adult ice skater, taking lessons. I hated the rental skates & decided I wanted my own, but didn't want to invest in a lot of money for skates. I wanted comfort! Most articles I read recommended never buying on-line, as you need to be "fitted" properly, but I thought I'd take my chances. And I'm glad I did! These skates fit perfectly & are incredibly comfortable~ like wearing a great high-top sneaker! I ordered a size below my regular shoe size. The quality & look are great as well. I took them to the pro-shop at the rink & they sharpened them for me & then I took to the ice! Awesome skates!!

I actually returned the Lake Placid skates I bought & kept these. They are very supportive-strong ankle build up & adequately padded. They are easy to lace up & the velcro strap keeps laces in place & tied. Kept my feet warm & they run true to size. I wear an 8.5 bought an 8. With a single pair of performance socks they fit well. I would recommend them for all levels of skating. I also had the blades sharpened & they hold their edge really well.

They're comfortable and smooth to use. They have great support. The tie and the strap make it easy to fit and adjust to your liking!

The fit of the skate was so comfortable , yet the support to my ankle was excellent. I needed a skate which my feet would not hurt and also a skate which would help prevent my ankles from being accidently twisted or bent. I have injured one ankle more than once requiring a cast and could not take a chance on injuring it again. I feel confident with the excellent support these skates offer my ankle will be protected. Could not believe how comfy they are. A extra bonus they look very stylish as well.Highly recommend for all the above reasons.

Hi, item was a substitution to original ordered. The only real difference was te color. My daughter ordered these in black so I knew the substitution would be ok just a color change. We are having them sharpened and will hit the ice next week.read reviews and felt these Jackson would fit the best at a great value. Also the skate plex uses the sme ones.

Made my daughter happy. Good fit and good quality for the price. Like all skates, they need to be sharpened first.
