Loved the shop vac trick!
2015 Outback 4 cylinder - EZ108 No more screwing around with a messy oil drain pan. Just drain dirty oil straight into an empty bottle. Have someone hold a shop vac over the oil fill while you remove the oil pan plug and replace it with the valve. Worked great! Buy the hose end adapter. Worth every penny. I don't understand why they don't just make it with a hose connector though.

I would highly recommend it for a no mess oil change
Just got doing my first oil change with this valve on a 2017 2.0t Forester. I would highly recommend it for a no mess oil change. Comes with the valve, gasket, and a removable nipple for a hose which is not included which is a 3/8 hose. I got clear vinyl hose for a buck at the hardware store. It was quick, easy, and no mess. I did my oil change with in 15 min. Saves time and money for sure. I will be adding this to any future cars.

The EZ-108 solved a dealer issue for me
My Subaru dealer tightened my oil plug so much that I had to use an air wrench to remove it. Vowing to never visit that dealer again I installed the EZ-108 RH Oil Drain Valve to make future changes almost effortless. Please note that the Subaru Outback (2018) oil drain is well recessed preventing road debris from ever striking the EZ-108 Valve making it both a safe and sensible alternative to removing and reinstalling that darn oil plug at every change. I am looking forward to years of simple and easy oil changes.

good quality for price!
Our oil pan has the raised boss area where it screws in and makes the installation some what questionable. So far it has not leaked or given any problems so I will call it a success.

Easy as pie!
I installed this on a 2021 Subaru Forester. I was a little concerned about the use of a rubber o-ring in place of the metal washer. I thought it might get too hot and melt but it hasn't and after several hundred miles I am no longer worried about it. It was a simple install and I am glad I purchased this so I wont have to deal with crush washers ever again.

Handle sticks when trying to engage
This seems like a well built product. However the handle to open the drain valve sticks and is very difficult to operate. For this reason I did not install it

So extremely easy to install on my 2015 2.5i outback. Never have to deal with shady jiffy lubez again.
