used fork seal installer today for fist time. 41 mm conventional forks. seal intaller worked very well and was easy to use.

This is not the best product for all bikes. Would not use on modern sport bikes. Just not enough strength and coverage for the newer bikes large diameter fork tubes. As a racer I need to trust that my seals are in the best they can be installed. However on older bikes and cruisers I use this all of the time with perfect results. Cannot beat the price. Not as trick as a high end brand, but if you struggle holding it together an inner tube rubber band or Velcro strap with help. I have used all of the sizes with great results. Would purchase again for sure

This tool kit pays for itself the first time you use it. I had no trouble with it and it seems to be good quality

The collects do not lock into the housing and fall out easily when using the tool>

Did the job for me perfectly. As others have noted, the red pieces do not insert that deeply into the fork, so if you are using them to seat bushings deeper into the fork, these might not do it, but I was able to seat seals just fine. YMMV.

I bought this set because it only cost a little more than buying a one size seal driver and it had the size I needed. I have only used it once, but from my initial impression it seems to be a good set for a DIY mechanic. The plastic inserts fit the metal tool well and they fit the fork tube well. The plastic inserts also seemed to take the impact well. I didn't notice any wear after the first use. Someone mentioned them being a little flimsy when using and I would have to agree a little. However, once I got a feel for it I figured out the best way to hold it to prevent it from possibly opening. Overall, I am super happy with the set.
