After you receive the boas, please pull them out of the PVC bag(s), preferably outdoors, in order to get rid of debris formed during processing and shipping. The boas should be hung for 48 to 72 hours before use. The longer you hang them up, the better they will look. Feather boas are also washable. Clean the boas by hand washing in warm water and soap. Rinse off the soap with cold water. Then, wipe off the boas with a towel or paper towels. After removing most of the excess water, use a blow dryer to finish drying the boas and maintain their fluffiness. Worth it
This is a very full fluffy boa, and relatively soft. It does not shed much at all, unlike pretty much every other boa. The color is beautiful, but I would call it more of an apricot color. Definitely peachy leaning vs a more neutral color. Looks good with a gold dress. I would say it is worth the few extra bucks compared to the 40g boas out there that fall apart easily.

My kid was thrilled
My thirteen year old needed this for a concert we were going (couldn’t tell you who, I’ve never heard of this person). Her happiness was bigger than my embarrassment but still not sure it was worth it because I keep finding feathers around the house. It does the job if you need it for a one time thing but it won’t look so hot the next time you need it.

It sheds too much!
Hated the feathers falling and people slipp on them. It was a mess, but nice color!

Pretty but…
The boa was pretty and fluffy, but the feathers were falling off from the moment I took it out of the packaging. It served its purpose for an afternoon and looked great, but it wasn’t fun picking up feathers.

Sheds. Sheds a LOT. Great boa otherwise, you'll want to use a bag indoors
While in the car and in the house, this needs a bag. Feathers everywhere! Looks great, very full, very cute, very messy.

Beware of dye transfer
This is a good quality fluffy boa but be aware that the color ones will transfer onto skin and clothes. I wore the red one for a few hours and it turned my neck, hands, jeans, and black shirt (yes somehow the red showed on my solid black shirt) red and also the dye on my hands then transferred to my face when I touched it.
