They were soft and delicious! Almost melt in your mouth! I try to have one but many times it ends up being more than that lol reminds me of my youth when my mom used to make these by hand each Christmas.

For years we had to write the relatives to ship these over for Christmas and finally the bite size marzipan kartoffeln are available! This is the same European packaging which is just a round plastic container and cover - I find that these will start to get hard if not eaten - perhaps a bread tie inner liner would help. They can be refrigerated, but again they get hardened and to me, they are most enjoyed at room temperature.

First of all! Delicious BUT I eat the authentic German version that is pictured on Amazon all the time. What I got is not the authentic German version imo. Still Delicious, but not the same. The ingredients list is different in my opinion. I tastes way sweeter imo. I don't like it this sweet and the authentic German ones are already sweet enough. It's kind of like eating Italian Pizza in Italy. And then ordering Italian Pizza sold here in America. You can taste the difference!

The packaging was very secure and the candy itself was very bright and colorful and very appetizing!!!!

Ich finde diese Marzipaneier perfekt in Konsistenz und Süße. Das Marzipan zart und fein. Ein kleines bisschen fest: perfekt! Könnte jeden Tag ein paar naschen. Und übers Internet zum Glück auch außerhalb der Osterzeit verfügbar.
