Bought this to replace one I found at a thrift store. Air tight storage, so be sure to lift the steam valve on the lid to open, and when you want to close it, place lid and press the air out of the container then down on the valve. Easy to clean, nothing about this model being microwave safe though.

Good lunchbox but the small vacuum seal comes out completely and unfortunately our daycare provider misplaced the part! So the box is unfortunately useless without the seal

Compré este producto porque en la publicación decía que tanto el contenedor como la tapa son aptos para horno pero cuando recibí el producto leí en las instrucciones que solo el contenedor es apto para horno. Ahora veo también en el website de Black+Blum que advierten que al poner el contenedor en el horno se puede descolorar. Lo tenían que haber advertido en la publicación!!Además, en el prospecto habla de un divisor que no vino con el producto.

After releasing the valve, the lid was super difficult to lift open. I purchased these for my kids and my 9-yr old struggled to open it, I can see her asking for help at school to open her lunch container :-(I'll have to send back and get something easier and leakproof

Amazon seller Gonche never sent my purchase of this item to me. Looks cool but I don't know if it is.

This is seriously what I was looking for, purchased one for our 10 year old and When I saw how well made this lunch box is, we purchased another for the younger one. They are both able to open it just fine, it is just matter of practice. One hand holds the corner the other lays wrist over and opens with the fingers on that hand. It is leak proof, stays warm in the neoprene lunch pack and dishwasher safe. Really really happy and might get for myself too 💙
