We did so in 5-10MPH winds with gusts of 15-20MPH and had no issues keeping it afloat. It was very easy to put together and only took a few short minutes. In my opinion it's actually harder to put away than put together. Removing all of the rods and then folding it up compactly enough to go back into the included case was the larger challenge, which still wasn't bad. It seems to have good durability with quality stitching and good materials, especially for the price. It's something that almost any kid would have an easy enough time picking up and getting airborne. It was incredibly fun to use and brought us a lot more joy than we would've thought for less than $20. I paid $16 after taxes and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for inexpensive fun.
