For the longest time, I never bothered with wireless. As someone who games on PC, even the slightest delay or random ping spikes would throw me off, and sometimes something on my desk would also get thrown off. However since I’ve moved, I decided to clean everything up better, less cables here there & everywhere. So my setup is basically my main internet router, with the wireless disabled. That is directly connected to the TP-Link Archer AX20. And that is what handles all the wireless stuff as it’s obviously better all round than a standard internet router. Anyway with this T3U Plus connected to 5GHz, I literally get the exact same speeds and ping as a direct Ethernet connection. My internet isn’t the fastest, but the wireless stats are the same speeds. Maybe it’s due to WiFi 6, but I’ll be keeping this and I can feel comfortable playing games. Setting up was easy, just plug it into a 3.0 USB port and it’s up and running straight away, you’ll see the WiFi icon (or search for it) then connect. There will be a note mentioning how it can run faster in a 3.0 USB port. I was confused as I was sure I put it in one, and I did, the message just remains there I guess. So yeah guys, WiFi isn’t as bad or unpredictable as it was years ago. Overall it works well, good value for money, it’s not too big, very happy with it.

Honestly, it’s not the most simple adapter to use because you have to install drivers, great quality and very good speeds for the price, Its fully functional and I haven’t had any issues, it’s plug and play. If it’s in the back it’s discreet, while the antenna is quite big it is streamlined by all means, does what it says on the tin, I highly recommend.

I recently bought a mini-pc, which despite being excellent in most regards, had issues with wifi connectivity. Signal speeds were as low as 10-20 mbps at points, which is frankly awful. In comes TP-Link Archer T3U. After some really brief set-up, which involved downloading the appropriate driver (if your PC has a disk drive, this step is probably even easier as it is supplied on disk) and connecting via the TP-Link, my wifi speeds had shot-up dramatically, from 'Very Slow' to 'Very Fast'. Rather impressive for a device little more than a couple of centimetres long. My router is in the living room, which is on the other side of the flat, and this device has no issues connecting and bringing me back up to the speeds I need and more than. I'm able to stream shows/music, download games and browse multiple sites effortlessly. For reference, I was trying to download a 20GB game before hand and it was giving me a download time upwards of two hours. With this installed, that dropped right down to less than 20 minutes. There's really very little to complain about. Delivered quickly and with no issues, rapid set-up and no space taken up by wires or bulky units. I suppose its worth highlighting that I don't know what impact this would have on an already slow wifi connection, as mine is fibre optic and usually very fast. But if you're struggling to get good connection to your wifi in a different room in the house, I can definitely recommend this little device.

purchased loads of these work great no drive install required on w10 or 11 they jsut work great product.. also the arial does spin round if it not in the right orientation for your system

i had this for several days, it started to work as it was designed for with the antenna setting with fast wifi speed. but after several days, the product could not detect any 5GHz wifi anymore and it is downgraded as a T3U? but amazon custom service was good for refund. I would suggest PCEi solution, not this shortcut.

Works well at first. Easy installation and stable connection. 6 months later - keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting, with poor signal. Got another wifi dongle and all good now so it’s not the wifi it’s this dongle.
