Review: Worthy dongle. - Because of physical wiring issues with my new fibre broadband, my router had to be moved from the loft where my pc is located, to the kitchen, 2 floors below. My old Dell Windows 10 pc just couldn’t pick up the new signal and my speed remained at the previous 45mbps. With this dongle the speed is now 150mbps as it should be. I wouldn’t say the whole process was easy and straightforward because nothing ever is with non-tech people like me. Installing the software was the easy part but didn’t seem to appear on my pc’s available WiFi connections. However, I did finally work it out and the dongle works just great. A tech savvy person would probably have no problems.
Review: I always do honest reviews - On my new pc i was using my old 600M wireless adapter felt a little slow, i ran a download speed test was getting 150-160Mbps, i decided to order this one as its faster speeds and its a USB.3.0 so it should be better and thats right. i got it today and did the same test and my mbps got doubled, i was getting around 265-270Mbps. Really simple to use as well just plug it into a blue USB port at front or back and it pops up straight away, i dont know why some of these reviews are so negative they must have old or faulty hardware. And ive been playing on my pc for a couple hrs now without any disconnects so it seems to be stable.

**Q: Will this work with windows 10? Also will this cope playing online games like Rust or Ark?**
A: I bought the N300 Mbps Exquisite and it was bad for videogames. I tried playing an FPS game and the ping/latency was unchanged from using the ethernet cable before and afterwards but it experienced packet loss and was laggy and unplayable.

**Q: I have a sky router at the moment - i plug this into my PC to pick up the wifi signal to get the internet on my PC?**
A: Correct - you may need to load the disc that comes with the router into your PC and go through the installation process. You will also then need to log your router onto your WiFi Hub (which means you will need password etc details, usually on the back of the Hub).We have had ours for a couple of months and it works very well.

**Q: Will this help with bad Wi-Fi on holiday (Menorca)**
A: It can't improve the Wi-Fi signal but it will make the most of whatever is available as it's a good dongle.

**Q: is it compatible with Ubuntu?**
A: Not tried it - mine is a Windows device.

I’ve been using the TP-Link Archer T3U Plus WiFi dongle for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been a solid choice for the price. It was super easy to set up and gives a strong, stable connection with good range, especially with the dual-band support and the 5dBi antenna. After about two years, I did have a couple of issues with the connection dropping now and then, but nothing too serious. A little troubleshooting and it was back to normal. Overall, it’s been amazing for the past few years, and I’ll definitely buy it again when I need a new one. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable WiFi dongle, this one’s definitely worth it.
