It works very quietly. And look very beautiful. It's also easy to operate by remote control.

I did my homework when I was shopping around for a humidifier. I searched for days. I read reviews. I weighed pros and cons. I even made a spreadsheet. I wanted a good humidifier that was worth the money so I didn't mind spending money to get my money's worth. Well unfortunately this one was not it. I do not like writing bad reviews. I do not like bashing anyone or anything. But under these circumstances, I think the truth should be heard. The BOYON Cool Mist Humidifier cost too much money to have any issues at all. So I started out buying one for my bedroom. But I was transporting it from my bedroom to my office every day. So I bought another one within a week. So now I had 2. One for my bedroom, and 1 for my office. That second week, the new one I just bought, the essential oil tray got stuck. I couldn't open it. I bruised 3 fingers, and broke 2 fingernails trying to open it. I called Amazon to complain, they had me to return that one and they sent a replacement. So now I have the third BOYON Cool Mist Humidifier in my home. This one seemed to be working fine for about 2 weeks. Then it started leaking. I awoke one morning to a puddle of water all over the table the BOYON Cool Mist Humidifier was sitting on and the carpeted floor underneath the table. Furious, I called Amazon to complain once again. They wanted to replace it once again. However, I was done with the BOYON Cool Mist Humidifier. I told Amazon I would return the BOYON Cool Mist Humidifier for a full refund. So I returned the BOYON Cool Mist Humidifier and accepted my refund. These 2 were the new ones. I still had the very first one I purchased in my office. Sadly, the essential oil tray got stuck on this one last week, and then started leaking over the weekend. I didn't even call Amazon this time to complain. There is no point. I just requested a refund and will return it. I hope others have had better luck than I have had. But it seems to me that if I have had 3 of these and this has been my luck, then it is not just me, it is the product, unfortunately.
