Dixie Belle Paint Company | Satin Clear Coat (8oz) | Satin Finish Polyacrylic Topcoat | Chalk-Friendly Furniture Paint Finish

I used this on a noodle board I made for my stovetop. I used a chalk paint and wanted to protect it but didn't know if regular polyurethane would ruin the paint. It's consistency is like water, so I wasn't sure about the coverage, but it went on smoothly. I did two thin coats, it dried relatively fast so I had them done in less than two hours. The directions do say to let it sit for several days before using any cleaners on it, I simply wiped it down with a wet cloth. There is no yellowing so far, but it's only been about 10 days. I used a brush to apply it, so there were brush marks, but nothing blatantly visible. This is a decent protective covering for any arts and crafts project. I'd buy it again and probably will.

This product worked perfectly! I tried a different brand at first but it dried with streaks. This went on very smooth, no smell and dried quickly without any issues. It has a subtle shine to it which was perfect for my project. Loved it so much I bought another one for future projects!

I am very pleased with the quality of this product. I made a table, stenciling the top. I needed a subtle, durable & reliable coverage. This provided that, not altering the finish on the stencil. I was very impressed, as was my husband, who is an experienced woodworker.

This saves me so much time when I seal my projects. No more wax on wax off and buffing for hours. THis goes on easy and smooth.

I have been painting with Dixie Belle for years and highly recommend this top coat of Satin Clear coat. Make sure you let dry between the first and second coat. Highly recommend you clean your brushes called "Scrubby" soap (comes in different scents).

The packaging is very thin. The lid is difficult to remove. Those 2 things combined make opening challenging.

It was easy to apply and did not leave any streaks. I know it's matte, but it's matte, lol. My usual matte polyurethane has a slight sheen after 2 coats. This looks like I didn't use anything.
