Inspired Guns DVD

So dang funny! I love the 4 main characters! My whole family laughs out loud. It's clean and has great humor! My 5 year old quotes it "I'll gently stomp across your back til it pops" , my teenage son quotes it "excruciating!", my 65 year old parents quote it "... that's like a 4 hour difference"... this movie is SIPIC!!*note - the target audience is LDS, but this movie is funny to anyone who enjoys clean humor and quoting funny movies! several friends who aren't LDS have laughed pretty hard through this one too!

Sorry, I wanted to like this film; however, it was beyond painful to watch. When Richard Dutcher burst upon the scene with God's Army there was so much promise with the emergence of "Mormon Cinema". I had hoped that LDS films would really take some risks. Yet, after the abysmal Singles Ward (1&2), The RM, and an entire host of other hastily made lackluster films, I knew not to expect much from this disastrous attempt at movie making. With a talented and vibrant artistic community that would totally surprise a plethora of nevermos, the LDS film community can do so much better. I worry that Richard Dutcher's proclamation that "Mormon Cinema" is no more has become true, I hope not. There are so many aspect within LDS culture that would make for serious art that would be totally groundbreaking and relevant in within the LDS community as well as the secular world. I wish I had the talent, I do not; however, I still have hope that someone within the community will sack up and make a film that really explores and challenges conventional thinking....

Fun flick for the whole family. Clever, clean, unpredictable. Everyone from 6 yrs old to 40 really liked it... grandparents too. Kids asking to watch it again so we will.

I watched this movie with low expectations but I was actually very entertained. I have 2 Son N Laws that are getting ready for their mission so what I have seen from them, the main character pretty much pulled off the part really good. I would not be surprised if he really is Mormon. I Loved the "guy from the Hood". All N All it is a movie that you could be entertained with and not be afraid to watch with your Mormon friends or relatives, because it did not portray them in a negative way.

Parts were funny, but the entire description is really misleading. If one wishes to make a movie promoting a church, fine. It really should be disclosed in the description.

A lot of the stuff in the movie reminds me of my mission. The situation in this movie is not meant to be super realistic but it does bring up a lot of realistic relationship stuff between the companionship. Super funny movie and for being a not huge budget movie the acting never stands out as bad and sometimes stands out as good.

I've read some of the reviews. I'm disheartened by some of the thoughts expressed by the naysayers. This was a fun, inspiring film, that's ull of hope. Its PG rating is trustworthy, unlike so many other films these days. It's exactly what the world needs more of as opposed to the filthy garbage that proliferates because it appeals to our lesser angels.

While not a sleek, high-end cinema experience, the story and characters are memorable and lots of fun. Our family has since recommended the film to friends (which doesn’t often happen with random amazon prime selections.) If you’re on the fence, check it out. Something the entire family can enjoy!
