This is an excellent product which my family has used for a couple of years. In all fairness, even thought some take exception to a close or past expiration date, I did contact the Supernutrient company on this, and was told it is still fresh and full potency WELL past the date. Where else are you going to find clean Kombu kelp from Iceland that actually lists the iodine content? I am so happy to find a source with BOTH reasonable price and shipping!

This product only costs $17.00 on the website of those who produce it (supernutrient.com) so I think this is a mistake. Other products on Amazon from the same company like Sea Aloe Gold and Platinum Plus Essential Amino Acids are the same price as at Supernutrient. Please change this to a reasonable price.

Don't forget to check the date!
I have purchased this product elsewhere and when they quit carrying it, so I looked to other sources. I was happy to find it here on Amazon, but not so happy for the $5 shipping on a $12 item. Went ahead and ordered it anyway. When I received it, I saw that its use by date was only a couple weeks off. Not cool when it is a 90 tablet bottle. It's probably okay to still use, but I will probably not purchase from this seller, again.
