It does a remarkable job dealing with lens flare, and with a 110 degree FOV light finds its way in from all sides. I am still trying to DIY a filter system but will update if I manage it. The only thing that made me take away one star is that the distance meter is a bit off. Infinity setting is off and since most of my night images need this it is a bummer to have to proof my focus accuracy every shot, at long exposures. The facts it is a large lens on m4/3 The lack of filter options to just buy is a bummer The IQ is spot on and great micro contrast and sharpness Practice makes perfect, so practice. I have had 3 Samyang/Rokinon lens and they are all way better than their price suggests.
