This is the best kettle I have ever owned. I can't believe I've been boiling water for daily tea and coffee for these many decades without it. Most importantly, no worries of it boiling dry since it turns itself off. It's super easy to use. The handle has a nice feel to it and doesn't get hot. The spout is far enough away from your pouring hand to also not get your hand steamed. The spout allows for very precise pouring. The base takes up such a small footprint, so it's not problem leaving it out on the counter--plus it's kinda cute looking. I already bought another for a gift. Absolutely love it. This kettle is just what it needs to be and does just what it is supposed to do. And it does it quickly, quietly and without any bells, whistles or other unnecessary drama. It looks charming on the counter top and doesn't take over the whole place due to its unassuming footprint. It brings water to a full boil within just a couple of minutes, and pours beautifully without over-shooting, and no dribbles or drips. A very nice little kettle, it would work well in one's office as well.

First, I was very impressed with the delivery service that I received when I ordered the Elementi Stainless Steel Electric Pour Over Kettle for Coffee and Tea. I placed my order at 5:30 PM on a Saturday, and received it the following Monday at apron. 10:00 AM, using the free delivery service that came with my order. A time frame of about 40 hours. Excellent!!!!As for the Kettle itself, it is even more attractive than it appears in the Photo. The two foot cord is long enough for me to place it almost anywhere on my kitchen counter, and when the kettle is either very close to a plug or is not in use, the cord stores neatly by winding around a space provided under the base.My wife calls me a coffee nerd because I am so precise in the way I make my pour-over coffee. So when I decided to get an electric kettle it had to be able to heat water to the same temperature that I was accustomed to when using my stove top pour over kettle. So the first thing I did when I received the pot was check the water temperature with an electronic thermometer, and it heated to precisely the correct temperature then the automatic switch turned it off, meaning that I can depend on the water being the precisely correct temperature at the moment it turns off.Unlike some other electric kettles, there is no offensive smell or taste to the water heated in this kettle.Obviously, I have only had the kettle a short time now, so I cannot speak to its longevity. However, if the quality I have noted so far is representative of the longevity of the kettle, it should be a part of my family for a long time to come.

This does what I wanted. I wanted to switch away from a tea kettle heating up on a hot stove burner. With a hot stove burner I would need to be sure I turned the knob on the stove off before rushing off to work, and to not be think twice about that once I already left the house. I also did not want to draw over 1000W. This electric kettle adds some safety reassurances to my daily routine, and it is worth it for that.It heats up fast. There are two beeps when the kettle has reached temperature. I find those too quiet, and easy to miss. A whistling tea kettle was better at letting me know when the water was ready. That is the one thing I would want to see improved in the next model. The other improvement is that two buttons need to pushed - the power on/off and the temp setting. It would be more understandable to just push the temp button, e.g. 205F, and have the kettle power on.Without a kettle in the base unit, no lights are on. If I put the kettle in the base, one of the temp buttons becomes lit. That is very confusing and could be thought to be an indicator that the kettle is on and being heated. The kettle comes with minimal instructions.The pouring is great and just what you would expect from a gooseneck for a coffee pour-over use.

I gave this kettle 5 stars because it...- Worked right out of the box- Isn't too big and looks nice on the countertop (see picture with 16 oz tumbler next to it for size comparison)- Boils fast, like a hot pot should- Lets you flick the toggle off easily if you don't want water to go all the way to boiling- Has a light on the front to let you know when it's on- Has automatic shutoff for those of us who forget we're heating waterOther notes:- It gets hot on the outside, like a normal metal kettle, but is not hot on the bottom so you can set it on the countertop.- The base feels flimsy.- The "hidden cord" option is iffy: the cord wraps around a footer inside the base, but you have to unwind the cord a set amount for it to emerge from the divot on the base, and it seems to always be either too long or too short. Not sure if that makes sense, but in summary, it could be a better system--not enough to take a star away, though. This was exactly what I expected for the price and is an extremely useful appliance.

"A watched pot never boils," for once is not true! This most fabulous electric kettle works quickly, is lovely on our counter, and even our 10-year-old can use it without me worrying.I had been looking for a long necked kettle to make pour-over coffee and came across the Elementi. Not only is it a very useful, easy, safe (auto-shut off) kettle, the staff went out of their way to communicate with me about the purchase - sending me an email about how to set it up (simple) and a follow-up to make sure we loved it (we do).Seriously glad to free up a burner now that we don't have a stove-top kettle, happy to not hear the annoying whistle of that kettle, or wait an interminably long time for the water to boil, and love that I don't have to worry about the pot boiling dry.I'm ordering more for my friends and family as holiday gifts, You should too. So good.
