To keep you from having to look for one, the feeder comes with an external analog timer for up to 48 meals per day. Many Home automation systems including Xfinity and iPhone could also be used to operate/monitor the Super Feeder. You could use a system like X-10, or the "WeMo Switch" available on Amazon, Lowe's...The metal bracket and strap attach the feeder to a sturdy and compact black ABS base and tower. It holds 4 and 3/4 cups of food (slightly over a quart by volume). Its capacity can be easily increased later with extra stackable 2-cup clear extensions or a 1.5 gallon hopper available from Super-Feed®. If you have a locksmith cat, the standard installed chute cover (protective device) will help prevent pet intrusion! Small 1/4 inch spherical/barrel shaped kibbles are recommended and guaranteed to work. Other kibble up to 1/2" oddly shaped will work equally well with reduced accuracy. You could trigger multiple feeders at one time with one timer using a power strip or dual outlet timer if your pets do not eat well together! It is extremely dependable, versatile and easy to operate, and comes with personalized customer support. It only needs minor assembly with a screwdriver.
