Whoa....
I was extremely surprised by how much this stabilizer stabilized my aim. I know it sounds like that should be a no brainer, but I've had two different stabilizers on two different bows and this one is by far the best I have ever had. One, this is a quality product with no shoddiness about it. It looks great on my bow, and the weights add a nice touch of adjustability that my other stabilizers never had. They were essentially steel rods covered in rubber. Not the case here! It's a quality product that actually weighs less than the stabilizer that was on my bow before, but because of the placement of the weight at the end, it does a better job with less weight! Two it really does an excellent job of stabilizing your bow. I've always had the problem of having to anticipate where my aim will be in relation to the natural sight travel of my bow and then pulling the trigger on the release. It always made the whole process a big guessing game and does not bode well towards accuracy. On a side note though it did force me to learn proper form and to minimize the improper techniques that I had learned when I first started shooting. I really wasn't expecting this stabilizer to stabilize my shot as much as it did. So I was surprised and even said "Whoa" to myself after my first shot. I ended up removing both of the weights from the end and am waiting on a new sight to come in the mail. So we'll see if I need to add a weight or two once I throw that baby on. Oh yeah and that just so happens to be a trophy ridge sight too, haha..... I swear I'm not a salesperson for them. Buy this stabilizer, it works.P.S. I researched the six inch version a bit before committing to buying the nine inch and I'm happy with my purchase. Like I said I currently have both weights off of this stabilizer so it may be that the six inch would have worked fantastic with a weight or two on the end. My bow weighs 3.17 pounds so a heavier bow may need to use a weight or two on the end, and probably would have fit inside of my bow case too. Either way it's still a fantastic stabilizer and I am more than satisfied.

I think I'm in love...
Wow! I've been shooting my bow for a year with only a noise dampening short stabilizer on it. I put this guy on and immediately saw a difference. Not only were my groups closer, overall my shot was cleaner. I just didn't have to fight to keep the pin in center of the target as much as before. I started with just one of the removable weights, but after shooting for a long time and not really feeling any weight strain I added the other weight. In addition to the nice added pin stability this really does a nice job of quieting down the bow too. I have seen some people talk about it limiting hand shock, but I can't say that I felt too much of a different there.I debated for a long time between the 6 and 9 inch versions, in the end I'm glad that I went for the longer one. It doesn't make the bow clumsy (that I can tell yet, but I haven't brought it into the woods yet). The only down side is that it is obviously too long to keep the stabilizer on in the case. So you have to remove it every time. It would be nice for it to have a protective cover on the threads so it doesn't get messed up in my case. It did have a small plastic one, but that was not durable enough to take on and off every time. The camo pattern is really nice, and matches my bow nicely. I debated about using the enclosed wrist sling, but ended up deciding to put it on. It is a nice simple black sling that comes with a front set piece that holds the two sides of the sling with allen wrench screw downs. (it is very much like this one: Loc Outdoorz Loc Outdoors Mat-Loc Chubb'e Sling Lost Xd/camo, Lost Xd , without the braided part around your wrist.) You can take it or leave it, it isn't necessary to the stabilizer, but a nice addition.

Stabilizer
This is what a hunting stabilizer should be. Looking for a new stabilizer all I kept seeing in stores and online were just an aluminum piece of metal wrapped in rubber. Rubber on the stabilizer does help some with vibration and shock yes, however that's not the purpose of a stabilizer. It's to stabilize the bow! The weight on a stabilizer should be toward the front to balance the bow out, which is where trophy ridge put it on this model. The body is lightweight as advertised and there are two weighted disk-like devices that simply screw on the front, the adjustable weights, and capped with a rubber coated piece on the very end. The black spacers inside the body are rubber as well, and the 6 inch model only has two, unlike the pictured 9 inch. It is longer than 6 inches also, believe someone else said 8 inches, which is about right with both weights on the end. Still fits in my hard case attatched just fine. Add this stabilizer to your setup and after some shooting time with it you will notice aiming to be a little easier, and sight pins swaying less.

I like the feel of a solid bow
OK... It's just a stabilizer, how much difference can it make? That's what I said until I tried the TR. I like the feel of a solid bow. I've only shot it indoors, however, my groups have tightened up and my confidence is higher. I shoot over 15,000 arrows per year. I've been focused on just about everything except my stabilizer to tighten my groups. Confidence in your skills and equipment will make you the best shooter that you can be. Apparently, I was looking in the wrong places. This TR stabilizer has helped tighten my group and improve my confidence. Now, when I miss the mark, I'm pretty sure it's me. If you're going to spend money on a quality product, just push the "BUY".Hope this helps. BTW.. I'm 69 and have shot a bow every year for the past 60. Trust me, you will be happy with this cool, quality, and functional product.

Wow! Unbelievable difference in stability!
I can't believe I didn't buy this any sooner. I've been using my factory stabilizer for three years. I took my lunch break from work today, ran home and put this on my bow. Shot about ten arrows and it's like night and day. My bow was so much more stable and keeping my pin on the target was effortless! Kept all the weights on and I will experiment later and take one weight off to see if there is, even more, improvement or determine if I should put the second weight back on. I already love it!
