Bon Tool 21-360 48-Inch Aluminum Tri-Fold Paver Square

The square fell apart the first time I opened it. One of the pressed fittings does not hold. My bad, I waited til now to open it. Too late for a return.

This item broke at the pivot point after the 2 nd time being used. (Approximately 10 minutes total time used) . Feel this item is cheaply made!!

I have pinched my fingers to many times on it because the button that holds it open quit after a few times that we used it. I should have spent more money and got a quality one.

The equal sides of this square make it more useful than a 3,4,5 square. The 45 degree angle helps you start and keep herringbone patterns regular. You can also use it to keep your boneless straight and square. The construction isn't super heavy duty, but it is for layout, so it should be fine. The unit folds nicely, but in one direction. Make sure your help notices the arrows on the opening end. The licking mechanism is simple and effective. It comes with a nice case that I'll probably lose soon, but it folds away and stores like a 48" level. This also helped me find the center of a tangent line to a circle when laying out a circle paver, fire pit, and seat wall build. I'm sure this tool will be useful in many different ways over the years.
