Nutritious, Delicious, and Versatile. A Must-Try Ancient Grain!
I recently started incorporating ancient grains into my diet, and Bob’s Red Mill Organic Kamut has been an absolute game-changer! The quality is outstanding—each grain is plump, clean, and cooks up beautifully with a rich, slightly nutty flavor and a satisfying chew.I love how versatile Kamut is! I've used it in everything from hearty grain bowls to homemade bread, and it always adds a great texture and depth of flavor. It also makes an excellent substitute for rice or pasta when I want a more nutrient-dense option.Another big plus is its nutritional profile—high in protein, fiber, and essential minerals, it keeps me feeling full and energized throughout the day. I appreciate that Bob’s Red Mill consistently provides organic, non-GMO products I can trust. If you're looking for a delicious and wholesome ancient grain, I highly recommend giving this Kamut a try!

Highly recommended
This was a new product in my pantry. I believe I found the best cooking instructions online, but it was easy. I've made this once and included it in a sturdy soup. It was tasty, filling, and, according to the research, nutritious. I'm glad I ordered several bags.

A wonderful grain. Far more true nutritious than traditional wheat.
I sprout my grains, then dehydrate them, and store them until just before bread making when I mill them into flour. Bob’s Red Mill always provides great results. His grains sprouted wonderfully and made the best bread. My bread loaves are made with 50% white bread flour, 25% freshly milled hard white wheat, and 25% freshly milled kamut. These grains also are wonderful just soaked 24 hours, and put in fresh whole milk to eat as cereal. Chewy and flavorful.

Flavorful quality grain
Just a great grain to add to your storage. It’s high in protein compared to modern wheat. It’s easier to digest. Just a hardy grain. Bakes like wheat flour. It’s good to have different grains in your pantry. It’s especially good to know how to cook with different grains. This even has recipes on the back for different ideas. My family loves the flavor of this grain.

Great Kamut, but wimpy box
Good quality Kamut, packaged in air tight bags (24oz 4pack equals 6 lbs) ... but I wish the box it came in was a bit more water resistant, because the box mostly disintegrated in the rain in less than an hour of light drizzle on my front stoop.Still worth the price, due to free shipping. Recommended.------Tips: To sprout the wheat berries, simply soak for 8-12 hrs in twice the volume of water. Shake gently once or twice during that, and change the water at least once, then give a final drain and rinse. To sprout, place in a roomy sprouting jar for 12 hrs or so until tails emerge. I typically then dehydrate it for 12 hrs at 120F and mill it, to make highly enzymatic sprouted grain flour. I also sometimes make wheat grass by spreading the sprouted berries in a tight single layer atop a paper towel or coco coir in a nested pair of 1010 or 1020 trays (slotted or mesh atop a regular no holes tray), and cover with a humidity dome or spare tray for the 1st 2 days, then uncover and let em green up and get tall. Good for 2-3 harvests per tray via standard "cut and come again". Great for juicing.

Having sugar cravings? Try THIS!
Don't ask me why, but eating Kamut STOPS my sugar cravings. It's an amazing rice substitute on this end. Also at this price point, this is great value for money (aside from the fact that it stops me from buying more candy haha). Cooking time might be slower, but really just go get one of those timed pressured cooking pots and drop the Kamu there with some broth, meat and veggies and you'll get a great soup! The packaging and texture feels clean, I had no random sprouting in my items, and the ingredients is exactly what you are buying: just Kamut.I'm also a little sensitive to gluten but the gluten from the kamut does not affect my gut which is great!
