They are durable glass and so versatile I've been using them for years. Only broken one in almost 10 years. They seal airtight unless you heat the lids if you heat them the lids eventually loosen and sometimes crack at edges but youre talking about months of abuse. There are replacement lids available for purchase if the lids wear out which makes them a great option for sustainability. Less waste.
