First time I’ve done this restoration but it was simple and I love the result.
These stainless steel clamps are great for restoring lawn chairs. Their grip is solid and they are easy to install on straps.

Work great!
I wanted to rework several wicker furniture pieces. I bought 80 of these and they worked great! I have a 5 inch vice in my shop and it works perfectly to clamp down on these to fasten the 2 inch fabric.

Need a vice to get it tight
Still working on the project so no long term history on the over all performance. Solid product, seems like high quality steal. Really need a good vise to clamp these tight.

follow user instructions close with a vice
just like the ones made popular in the overstuffed furniture of yesteryear.

standard metal end clips for upholstery repair, strong, effective.
Old fashioned end clips for upholstery repair, these metal clips are strong, and fit well into standard slots. Nevertheless, in a pinch, if a mistake is made in cutting the webbing length, the clips can be pried open carefully and with a great deal of effort.

These House2Home metal end clips go with the 2" wide Carkio Elastic Webbing. The clips are fastened to each end of webbing strips that are cut to size. I used this webbing and clips to replace the webbing on a wood-frame loveseat that has cushions placed on top of the webbing. Coincidentally, the webbing and clips look exactly like the items they replaced. The loveseat has slots in the wood frame of the seats, so that the webbing can be stretched from side-to-side across each seating position, and the clips on the ends of the webbing strips go into the slots. The metal clips came with very good how-to instructions, and the clips can also be used for webbing on furniture that does not have slots. In that case, the clips would be attached to the wood frame with screws. The instructions suggest starting with a webbing length the same size as the width between the slots, and then fine-tuning your webbing length to suit. They also describe inserting the first clip into the slot, and having a friend pull on the webbing to stretch it while you insert the second clip into the slot. That sounded like a really good way to determine the correct webbing length before doing any cutting of the webbing. So, I attached a clip to the loose end of my webbing roll, inserted it into the slot, and pulled the webbing tight. I made my mark for the length at the second slot plus the distance of the clip, because that extra bit of webbing inside the clip will get tucked into the slot. That worked perfectly, resulting in a nice snug length of webbing that still has a bit of flex when you replace the cushion on top of the webbing and sit down. I cut all my pieces of webbing, melted the cut ends with a lighter to prevent fraying, and then attached the clips to the ends. I used a vise to attach the clips, which allows you to compress the whole clip evenly over the end of the webbing. I didn't think I would have the grip strength to do that with pliers, which was the other option suggested in the instructions. If you have a vise that is mounted on a workbench, that would be the easiest solution, but I managed to make it work with a unmounted vise. This is an awesome DIY solution for restoring furniture that uses webbing, and I'm delighted to have found it.
