I used to work at a restaurant that had these and now they’re a favorite of my Dad’s. They’re a little sweet and crunchy. They taste great. Personally I find them to be a little spicy after eating a few of them. They’re not stale or anything but they are difficult to chew with sensitive teeth. Overall they’re really a good snack

Japón nuts
Had Japón nuts first time when I worked in Villahermosa, Mexico. I’ve been a fan since. Not easy for me to find in stores in Houston, Texas. I’ve ordered these a couple of times and will order again.

Old and rancid
I love cachuates japones. I was so excited to receive these and then so disappointed when they arrived. First, there are many broken pieces, with just the interior nut and crumbs of coating at the bottom of the bag. Second, the coating is hard and stale with little added flavor, and the nuts taste old and in some cases rancid. I thought I had found an affordable cachuates japones in the US. Not worth even this low price.

Good but Hard
The peanuts you can buy in Mexico are better and have more flavor. These are crunchy hard but satisfy the craving of the ones you can buy in Mexico, wish we could get them here, the shells on the Mexican peanuts are not as hard and better!
