SheaMoisture Shampoo & Conditioner Set, Jamaican Black Castor Oil

I have tried so many products that claim to be moisturizing & good for dryness/ frizzyness, let alone helps prolong color treated hair.. None of them came anywhere close and too often even made the problem worse! I decided to try this shampoo/ conditioner duo because I knew some of the ingredients truly were beneficial (like with apple cider vinegar, the smell is a deterrent on it's own) So I colored my hair a few day's before these arrived, & it dryed my hair out pretty bad. I figured it was going to take a good chunk of time to get fresh life back in. I've used the shampoo twice, the conditioner once. Just this much, there is an obvious difference. My hair is softer, no sign of color leaching, & a huge percent of moisture is back from the color treatment. Plus there is natural shine! First time opening the shampoo bottle, I see the color, think of the obvious link to apple cider vinegar & inwardly cringe & mentally prepared myself for the smell ( I wouldn't of cared too bad if it worked, but hoped it'd be a better smelling alternative) It was thankfully, it is a somewhat subtle but obvious aroma of vanilla. (Which is pretty pleasant & lasting) I remembered about the description saying it was good for color treated hair due to low sulfates, so I worried I'd have to use a lot to clean my hair which is on the long side of medium length. It isn't as thick as traditional shampoos, & I did use a little more- but still the quality made it to where it's a non issue. So another plus. Even though I've only used it twice, I've experienced enough already to know that this product has already exceeded my expectations & I will definitely be a repeat customer. My whole family has some degree of natural curls- From light waves, to fairly tight ringlets. So those of you who know- that equals special moisture needs... I'm very happy I discovered this. And I hope if you're like me & trying to find a product like this that actually does what it claims? And this helps you? Then the time I've taken to write this is worth it. Edit: So I've used this for a few month's now, & have had some pleasantly surprising results- I even asked my husband to double check in case I was imagining it.. We both noticed a very definite thickness, & shine to go with everything I said above. I know a lot of women who've gotten hair care items promising this with no results.. So I'm very very very very happy 😂 that this product is doing it without me even noticing it listed as a possible effect? I literally could not be happier with this stuff.

It’s super nourishing, smells like a tropical escape, and leaves my locks feeling soft, defined, and hydrated AF. I use it as a deep treatment and it works wonders on dry, brittle ends. Plus, supporting Jamaican roots makes it even sweeter 😊. Would I recommend? 100%, it’s a must-have for curly/ textured hair!

Lo acabo de recibir y llegó muy bien empacado. El shampoo viene sellado y huele mejor de lo q esperaba. Ya les contaré mas adelante como dejó mi cabello q está muy maltratado y quebradizo. Actualización: Amé el champú!!! Dejó mi pelo muy suave y manejable, hace mucho q no sentía el pelo tan suave con un champú. El acondicionador ñeee, mas de lo mismo, al menos a mi no me causó tan buena impresión como el champú, eso si, deja mucho brillo en el pelo. Para la próxima compraré solo el champú

Smells good and conditioner leaves hair soft

This product has really been helping my hair and my dandruff problem out my hair is a lot cleaner it feels a lot better still working on my scalp repair but other than that my hair and my scalp feels so much better than what it used to feel like

To put this in perspective, I am a white female, with thin hair. I have tried so many different shampoos and conditioners, in many different ways. I always had problems with oily hair. I found non natural products that seemed to work, but my hair wasn't healthy. It was weighed down, broke easily, and grew about as fast as molasses. After a while my hair was just on my nerves so badly, wasn't growing properly, just seemed to beaten down I shaved it to about half an inch. I started looking into more natural products. I tried the ones "made" for oily hair. They actually made it oilier! So, against all hair wisdom, I started using moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. And I also started applying conditioner to my scalp. 😱 My thinking was, your scalp is skin, your hair grows out of pores, you wouldn't scrub your face without giving it some moisture, so why do it to your scalp? It worked perfectly for me. My favorite before this was an Argan oil shampoo/conditioner set. But this one is the best I've ever used! It's so good, I pretty much stopped using a leave in conditioner, except about once a month for extra moisture when my hair feels pretty bad. It has made my hair grow like crazy too! Which was the other big reason I got this. It has gone from a half inch to about two inches in only a couple months! Moral of the story; if conventional wisdom isn't doing it for you, find your own wisdom! Also, this shampoo and conditioner is awesome for different types of hair.
