Proverbs: The Ways of Wisdom (Living Word Bible Studies)

I love how this guide arranges the studies by topic rather than verse by verse. And she did this without cherry picking either. This is a great introductory study guide for Proverbs.

I've learned so much from these books. Not you've average read, more of a study. These are a lot of parallels/ references to other books of the bible.

Just reading Proverbs can be overwhelming because the verses almost become a list. They run together and each ones' message can be muted. However, this bible study is organized in a way that lets you see the patterns in Proverbs, the themes and verses that go together. Verses are not "translated" for you. The way the book is set up, you discover the patterns on your own using the word of Proverbs. I will definitely be buying other Living Word Bible Studies.

Wonderful and very practical study for our small group. Relevant and applicable to both those who would call themselves new believers and those who would consider themselves mature in the faith. We did this as a group study, and each of the women really engaged and appreciated the material.

It is difficult to find a really good study guide for the book fo Proverbs. We are using this one in our women's study group and everyone is really enjoying it. It was definitely worth the price.

Hmmm, it is ok, but as one other person wrote "it was not the study I thought it would be" - I would have preferred something that I could ruminate on for a while that gave me meat.... basically it was a question and answer. After doing a few studies, I gave up. I had thought the author would provide more background info on Solomon that I was not aware of.I did appreciate the spiral binding. When I purchase studies without the spiral, I generally take them to a print shop so that they can remove the spine and make my studies with a spiral binding so that I can write easier as it lays flat.

Fantastic study. Great with our Women's Biblestudy. Fantastic questions and breakdown of what Proverbs is about.
