It's definitely faster than the E150 so my grand daughter has to be a bit more careful riding it (she was quite the little dare devil on the E150). So far I'm pretty happy with it. My grand daughter loves it and she has the scrapes and bruises to prove it. Lets put it this way. Your kids are going to crash on these things from time to time so be prepared. Same thing on bicycles, just part of growing up. My grand kids go through the ritual of "gearing up" before riding which is putting on elbow and knee pads, along with the helmet and fingerless gloves (also good to have full length pants on). P.S = when driven on a road or sidewalk... you can get over an hr. of constant riding! **Q: Is the battery water proof or can it only be riden on dry days?** A: The battery is a normal pair of sealed lead acid rechargeable batteries that are used in many applications. (The translator apparently did not know the difference between "Seal" and "Sealed" when applied to batteries.) It won't be unhappy unless the water soaks the terminals, and then probably only if the water were ocean salt water. The bigger issue would be wiring and the electronics, both of which might be problems. I would not soak the Razor or intentionally drive it underwater. Incidental rides splashing through rain puddles on the drive way have not caused any problems so far. No experience with soaking rain. The water hitting your skin would not be comfortable, so I don't see it used in soaking rain much. I am sure the manufacturer would clearly disagree with everything I have said, insisting on dry use only. Have fun! He loves it, and according to the other kids in the neighborhood they like his better than all of the rest of theirs. Very sturdy, battery life is way more than he could ever use in one day riding around with friends in the neighborhood. Super fast, and lots of powers.
