Often, when using the other bowls, I end up having to help my dog finish his food because kibble will get stuck in the little nooks and crannies. But this puzzle isn't too complicated so I never have to help my dog finish his food. I’m sure it would work to slow down my cat’s eating, but it looks like she may not even be able to get all the way down to the bottom to finish her food. What's more, he enjoyed the challenge. It was fun to watch him bounce from one portion to the other getting excited to find more food. Rather than being in distress after breakfast he was content and relaxed. I'm going to buy more.
