Dogs need zinc for healthy coats and for normal pigmentation of the coat hair. Zinpro is a patented organic source of zinc for animals. Zinpro is made by linking the amino acid methionine with zinc to form a structure that can be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. Zinc serves two broad functions; Enzyme function and protein synthesis (cell reproduction in skin, coat, footpads and nails which consist of mostly protein). Directions: 1 tablespoon per 50 pounds of body weight per day ( a double dose can be administered for the first 28 days).

Helped with my Huskies zinc deficiency
Been using this product for the past month and so far it has helped a lot with my huskies zinc deficiency. Do shake the tub very well upon first use and use inbetween as some reviews did mention the bucket seems to settle. I didnt take that warning at first and didnt see any improvement until I mixed up the tub better. I take a little out at a time in a plastic container so the tub isnt sitting in my kitchen.

The only zinc our husky would take! :)
Our husky was diagnosed with a zinc deficiency like a lot of huskies are. We weren't sure what to give him and we have tried Sooo many different way to get him to take his zinc. This brand was the one and only kind that he would take willingly! We mix it into his food with a tablespoon of coconut oil and he absolutely love it! Thank you so much for making a product that our picky dog would finally take!!!

Does not work
Do not buy the 5.5lb tub of zinc pro it does not work. The tablet form for some reason works great don't waste the 50$ on the powered tub. My Siberian shepherd skin has gotten worse on this tub of zinc I'm putting back on the tablet form.

I've been using Zinpro for my Husky for about 2 ...
I've been using Zinpro for my Husky for about 2 years. It is the only thing that cured his zinc deficiency, even all that his vet tried. I also give it to my other dogs - keeps them going strong, even in old age!

A must buy for any zinc deficient dog!
My Siberian Husky was diagnosed with zinc deficiency. I had tried other zinc formulations that were either expensive or ineffective. I switched to Zinpro on advice from my vet. My dog's symptoms completely cleared. My dog surprisingly loves the flavor. I mix the powder with canned food and a little water or I use the tabs occasionally for convenience. Love this product!
