There are so many great reviews here that helped me decide on my purchase, so I only have a little bit of info to add. I ordered the Aqua and the Mint, as I could not tell from the images here or searched online which one I would prefer. I'm attaching 3 pictures that I hope will help future buyers who may have the same dilemma! They're both very pretty and bright! For the record, I really liked the mint in person but it didn't go well with my rain boots and it is a much darker hue than I hoped, and I LOVED the aqua, so my decision was easy. For size reference, I am 5'3, about 140lbs and I'm wearing the size Small here with a relatively thin sweater underneath. It's comfortable and I can cross my arms across my chest pretty well considering the fabric has little give, if any. I would only size up had I planned to wear a heavy fleece under this jacket, but I do not, and sizing up may cause me to lose some of the flattering shape.I love this jacket (finally, a hood with drawstrings on a rain jacket!) and my only complaint is the zipper, which sticks and seems very cheap/plasticky. It's not enough to make me return it, not by far. I've been looking for a great rain jacket for probably 4 years, and this is the best I have found!Update: 10/22/16: I've had this jacket now for a year and I'm changing my review from 4 to 5 stars. The questionable zipper has held up perfectly and the jacket itself is perfect; warm, breathable, not too heavy, and durable. I managed to snag it on a sharp piece of metal and put a tiny hole in it, so I put a very thin layer of clear nail polish over it and it's held just fine, not even noticeable. I plan to buy another, one to keep in my car, and I will probably get the purple or a slightly darker color this time because I'm a bit abusive towards my coats and there are a couple of small dirt marks on this one now. I wholeheartedly recommend this jacket!Update: July 2019. Still going strong, still love this jacket. I bought another for a change of pace for colors, but really, this one is still fine. I've bought other rain jackets (the pack it in the pocket kind) from Charles River for my husband and daughter, and thoe are great as well. I love this brand.

This is my second Charles Rivers rain jacket. I had my last one for years and got so much use out of it, as I live in a rainy climate (New Orleans). This jacket breathes, is comfortable, and is very attractive. It can also be monogrammed, making your jacket easily identifiable. I love the huge selection of colors and was thrilled to get it at such a great price on Amazon. You can be outside in a hard rain and will still stay dry. The jacket rolls up and is packable to take on a trip. The jacket fits loose enough that you can wear winter clothes underneath. I really can't say enough good things about these rain jackets!!!

PROS: Durable. Packable. Lightweight. Bright. Great Hood. Great Pockets. Flexible Sizing.CONS: Took a star off b/c Zipper sticks at start as others noted. Had a couple times where I thought it was totally broken but got it on like the 20th try. It's heavy-duty plastic and teeth are fine. Just getting it started is tough sometimes.Order arrived quickly and nicely packaged. I ordered just days before flying to a week-long trip to D.C. to cheer Dad running the marathon - and forecast called for days of rain. I needed something VERSATILE, PACKABLE and figured HIGHLY VISIBLE would help too... both for Dad seeing me among hundreds on sidelines and when I'm walking the doggos at home.Overall, really pleased. Like any true raincoat, this doesn't vent very well, though there are a couple flaps for it, but the outer material is non-breathable because it's 100% waterproof. There's an athletic lining but I still built up heat. It's ok though, because it's designed to keep moisture out (and in, as it were). It proved to be a very effective windbreaker in a cold/damp city gusts. When I layered under it, I did get a bit sweaty huffing around the city all day, but I could also easily flatten down into my backpack or carry in-hand when needed.There's wonderful pockets with zippers (that work fine). Really handy when you're sight-seeing in the rain and need to put camera/phone/map somewhere safe.And there's several points where you can adjust the size! The cuffs have velcro tightening tabs. The hood and bottom hem have a toggle elastic drawstrings. So if you're on the fence of size, I'd go a little larger, you can pull it in as needed. I'm quite thin, but felt well bundled after adjusting.I bought the yellow and it's really bright without being tacky. It looks classy - like a higher priced jacket. It's a richer yellow - like "sunshine," almost sunflower. But not a lemon yellow. There's also reflective strips. I look forward to having something proper to walk the dog in the rain.The hood is fantastic. I'm tall (5'8") and a lot of hooded coats aren't long enough, so when up, they kinda pull up the shoulders or force me to slouch. This hood is GREAT... roomy without being so much that I'm swimming in it or it falls down. Seriously, a hood on a raincoat should be highly-functional and this one is great!Survived the whole trip being stuffed in & out of bag, all day wear. I hope it lasts me a while but so far satisfied.Just please look into your zipper manufacturer.

Pedí talla chica y me quedó muy bien, con un poquito de margen por sí debajo traigo suéter o sudadera. No pude probarlo respecto a su funcionamiento pero me parece una opción muy útil para la época de lluvias en CDMX

Received the coat and very pleased with the quality. I got the coat at a heavily discounted price. I selected an XL as I'm roughly a UK 16 going by reviews sizing information but jacket is sadly 1-2 sizes too big. I will keep it though as the smaller size is three times the price.

Guter Tragekomfort und hält bei Regen dicht. Die Farbe ist zudem ein Komplimentegarant.
