Starbucks Hot Coffee Espresso Roast, 5lb (Pack of 4)

The beans were great for making espresso and had an awesome flavor. Weren't too bitter and very smooth whether you like them for espresso shots, or to add to drinks. Based off the product alone it would be 5/5.However, I saw this same product in Starbucks for $13 while I paid $21 for it. That's over a 60% price increase. I won't be buying these online anymore and I'd reccomend you just stop in your local Starbucks and save a ton of money.

I've tried different espresso roasts, illy, lavazza, some other smaller brands, and this is honestly the best. I even got some expensive coffee from Germany that was rated the worlds best this year, and this is still better. I'm kind of a hipster so I wanted my coffee to be some cool small boutique brand, but if you like dark roast this nails it, don't be turned off by the fact that it is Starbucks.

I've been buying these coffee beans for several years. I've tried the Starbucks Italian & French Roasts which are also great. These particular beans seem to make the strongest coffee of the three. I like my coffee strong & this one is my favorite.Keep in mind, however that buying it on Amazon is no bargain; in fact, it costs more than buying it at Starbucks. I included this item in an order that included several other items & I was under the mistaken impression that the order qualified for free shipping since that's what was indicated in "checkout." Instead, the coffee was shipped separately & the shipping charge was a little over $4.00, which makes the total price higher than buying it in a Starbucks store or a market.

“Pack of 1” not 6. Buyer beware. Amazon made good and gave me a total refund. So I came out ahead but not worth it. As usual Starbucks is superb!

This tastes great when using to brew specialty drinks, especially the ones that call for frothing various creamers. Be sure to see what grind settings and amounts are required for your drink, though. My first attempt was a fine powdered fail with double what was required for the drink I was attempting. It was not pleasant.Second attempt was delicious after following instructions.

Did not expect this smooth taste from starbucks coffee as I used to be a frequent Starbucks consumer at their store and I know how strong and bitter their coffee is. However this bean is very smooth and very well priced.

Coffee has a very good flavor. It’s strong but yet tastes good and isn’t overly bitter. I use this for espresso and lattes
