Great meter for HVACR
This is a great meter for HVACR. It does everything I need. I love that it connects to the Job Link app for wireless readings. I can have it inside of a furnace with the blower door closed reading the amp draw of the motor.

I am very satisfied with the performance.
It has never let me down. It's very convenient to take measurements inside the system with the door closed, using Bluetooth.

2nd best meter on the market!
All the features you could ever need are on this meter. The only issue I have noticed is when testing for LRA (locked rotor amps/inrush) you have to adjust the decimal place for each system you test. If not then, the readings will be wrong. On the SC680 there is no decimal to adjust and I wish this meter was the same. Everything else is great and quick to read.

Fieldpiece is the best!
This is my 4th multimeter from Fieldpiece. I like to collect them through 20 years of HVAC service. Very easy to use and they have a great warranty if anything goes wrong with your Fieldpiece tools.

IMPORTANT
Hey so I bought this meter a while ago back last year and it’s been working perfectly fine. Up until now it broke internally causing my volts to go crazy once I switch it to volts. As for continuity it’s still reading I don’t know what’s going on with it but if you could help in any way this would be great should I return it or ?

Great meter
I’d owned a 680 for over a year and absolutely loved it other than the size. I decided to pick up the 480 because it does most of what the 680 does in a smaller package. I still wish it was as slim as a Fluke but it does so much more for the money. I did notice the leads that came with my 480 aren’t quite the same as the ones that came with my 680. They are a little stiffer silicone. We’ll have to see how they are in cold weather. Still better than what comes with Fluke meters. Overall, I’m very happy with the 480 so far.
