There was so much more to this book than it just being an office romance. Patton comes from a military background, but after things went south he took over his fathers company. He runs things a certain way and he feels responsible for his brothers. Raquel graduated top of her class, reading to start her life in corporate America. She wants to be there for his sister, wants to make sure her sister is okay.I loved the chemistry between Patton and Raquel. There was an instant connection with those two and it just continued to grow and grow. Patton is an intense man and he seemed a little lost when it came to his feelings. I loved that Raquel tried to listen to the warnings, tried to ignore and fight the attraction she had for Patton.Boss of Me is full of steam, romance and emotion. This isn’t your average office romance, there is a lot of depth to the story and to the characters that will draw you into their lives and to their stories and for the secondary characters will leave you wanting to know more about them.Boss of Me is a MUST READ and definitely one of my favorites for 2019.

What about when her heart's in danger?Holy smokes Batman, but Boss of Me is freaking hot with ust! All the barbs and scowls Patton throws at Raquel are so obviously masking not just serious attraction, but something much deeper. I love how it really didn't take long for Patton's devilish exterior to soften up though, to open up to her. She was so perfect for Patton, who wasn't really accustomed to anything other than focusing on his company and taking care of his team, of his family. So when this sassy woman strolls into his life, he has no idea how to deal at first. In true fashion, though, his fall was glorious to read!Enemies to lovers and office romances are two of my favorite tropes and it's reads like this one why I love them so much. Angst and wit and snark when perfectly balanced with deeper emotion and layered characters who just don't want to give in to what is so obvious to the reader...gah, I love it when I read that kind of thing, and this author does it perfectly. Patton's surely a devil at first, but Raquel is the perfect combination of sweet and sassy to bring out his softer side, to bring out his truly good heart. I know I always gush about her writing, and this review will be no different, because she's at the top of her game with Raquel and Patton!

Great read. Really enjoyed this book. Now looking for more from this author! I could not put this book down.

Two hard headed people, instant chemistry, love/hate office relationship, yep Boss if Me is a hit for me, I read it in an afternoon. Alpha Boss Man Patton was loyal to his military team/brother's, and he's grown his family Fletcher business. But when the newest hire walks in, he's met his match with Rocky(Raquel), she feisty and she won't go down without a fight. You could feel their chemistry coming off the pages.
