I bought this to scoop food into a small chicken feeder. It is very durable and could see it working great for potting plants. It does have small holes in the bottom but those can be plugged somehow if needed.

I have several versions of what this does and when you're trying to make haste in bumping up potted plants, you want something that can hold and transfer a good amount of dirt. This is NOT for you if you are looking for something help you move large quantities of dirt. It's altogether far too small if you're dealing with pots that are 2 gallons or larger. The design is great but the size is a let down.

Used to fill a raised garden bed with potting soil.

I bought this to scoop wood smoking pellets to sift out small broken pellets and dust out before putting in my smoker and this works great for that.

It's smaller than I expected but it's great for potting up new plants into pots. Hopefully it will work for a few years as Florida sun is a killer on plastics.

Much smaller than I had anticipated. I was expecting a scoop twice as large.
