How many pounds of flour will this hold?

Since there's about 3 1/3 cups in a pound of flour and the capacity of the large bin is over 48 cups, you could get almost 15 pounds of flour in it. Maybe a cup shy.

I need to know the dimensions of the bottom of the container-- not the lid. Otherwise it won't fit what I need it for.

The bottom is 8-1/2 X 12-3/4 but the sides do go out a bit adding 1/4" so the box is 8-3/4 X 13. Hope this helps.

Do you think 12 pounds of small kibble would fit inside? Will it keep ants out?

I was able to fit 15 pounds of rice in it with no problem! Not sure if that translates well to pounds of kibble though
