I have used this produce for several years from different venders on any raw wood in a house I can get to, I once treated an exterior foundation beam with it that I had found drywood termites in, after completing the foundation work 2 months later, I tore up the rotting kitchen floor 10' away from the beam I had treated and found another whole colony of drywoods - dead! They most put some kind of termite candy in it. This made me feel good that colonies in areas I couldn't spray were feeling the effects of the treatment. Two years ago I bought a little 8 gallon 12v garden sprayer and an extra 100' of hose so I can easily spray attics and crawl under houses to spray the floor joists, etc. - much easier then using the 2 gallon hand pump garden sprayer I had been using. I have saved thousands from what the pest control people charge for doing the same thing with the same product.

We fight termites 12 months per year and always treat the termite cells ourselves. We mix Timbor with water and inject it into the floor and into the floor support beams and into the ceiling support beams, where ever there are signs of a termite cell or termite damage. We don't want to get tented for termites because of the nasty chemicals that are used, especially the chloropicrin, which is a nerve gas that is used for chemical warfare to kill enemy soldiers! I don't want even trace elements of that nasty poison in my walls, furniture, vinyl flooring, etc! We've been injecting Timbor for decades and feel very satisfied with the results. Plus... unlike tenting, each time that Timbor is injected, it protects the wood from termites and other insects forever!

I mill lumber, and trees have natural parasites and insects, and also fungus. I don't want my wood to have these, and with this 5 gallon bucket, 1.5 lbs per gallon yields 13.3 gallons. The advertisement needs correction because it says it is only "Liquid Volume 1 Gallons" and that is off by 12.3 gallons. I cancelled my last order because of this, then I realized it is a 5 gallon bucket, and they also told me by message it was 5 gallons. They ship it the very first chance, so that is good.

It's hard to rate it completely because it will take time to prove how it works. It was easy to mix up and spray on the logs.

Cheap insurance against wood rot and insect invasions, I won't ever do another deck or wood repair without first applying this. Way more than needed for my current project, but the per-pound cost is very low in this quantity, and it should keep for a decade or more in the shed with the lid snapped shut. If applying with a pump sprayer be sure to clean it out right away to keep it from clogging. Instructions on the tub are easy to understand. I'll add to not open it indoors when the tub is anywhere close to full, you'll get a cloud and some spillage.
