LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this line of books
I have no clue why the publisher seems to have discontinued these books. I love these! I hate that I had to buy a used one for my cousin's baby, but her nursery is dinosaur themed and I had various ones of these for my daughter and just HAD to get her one! However, the books are well made so I'll just use an alcohol pad or something to sterilize it. Because it does have "fur" and other materials in it for the textures, I do feel it needs to be sterilized the best I can for a baby.

That's Not My series books are my favorite. I discovered them when my daughter was six months old. She loved the illustrations and the sensory experience of touching the different parts of the book. We purchased this book as part of a gift for a one year old boy. He loved the book and his sister who is learning to read loved that she could read it to him. My daughter who is now three loves reading it to my husband and I.

Great book!
This entire series of "That's not my..." books is fantastic! They're cute, short, easy, full of bright colors and textures that interest little ones. My son wasn't into books until around his first birthday, but he's been requesting many of the books in this series for almost a year. He loves to find the mouse on each page and has memorized many of the words. The pages are colorful without being busy. That's Not My Dinosaur is one of our favorites.

Great Book!
I love these Usbourne books! They are perfect for babies and toddlers; they love feeling the different textures and are exposed to many sensory words.

Perfect for one-year-old!
My one-year-old is just starting to pay attention to books and he loves this one! It's a very simple concept and not a lot of words so it can be read quickly and keep your baby's attention. My baby loves touching the different textures on the pages. We read it at least twice a day. He even takes the book on his own and flips through the pages. This was a great buy! I can't wait to buy the other "That's not my..." books!

Another hit in the 'That's Not My...' series!
This is my 15 month old son's second book in the 'That's not my...' series. He absolutely loves looking through these books by himself, or having my husband or I read them to him, while he flips the pages for us. This book doesn't seem to have as much for illustrations as the That's Not My Monster (Touchy-Feely Board Books) book. All the dinosaurs except for one are on solid colored pages with no decorative background. But, I still think it is a nice little book and he enjoys touching all the dinosaurs. The following dinosaurs are in this book:- a tail that is too fuzzy- teeth that are too bumpy- flippers that are too slippery- horns that are too rough (my son's favorite)- spines that are so softThe touch material is a decent size, each material is different and not repeated on any other dinosaur either. Between the two books that he does have (this one and That's Not My Monster), I only saw one exact repeat of material (fuzzy), but it was a different color in each book.

Beautiful - both in color and texture
Beautiful - both in color and texture! For what its worth, we got this book as a gift about 3 1/2 years ago and the newer copy looks / feels a little bit different. I think I like it better... but if you're seeking to replace a belovedly-worn copy, know its not going to be EXACTLY the same.

Very cute and great quality
This book is very cute and very good quality. The pages are sturdy and the touchy sections are great quality. Each page has a different type of touchy/feely section. The pictures are clear and colorful, obviously each page is a different dinosaur :) There is not a lot of text, just one short line per page. It looks like a good book for a young one to "read" or interact with on their own - doesn't require an adult to read the story. My son is just a little too young to be interacting on his own with the pages, but we have looked at the pictures together. I think he will get a lot more out of this book once he is 6 months and beyond.
