Spread the light
Professional results and easy to cut. I used these in my kitchen and used a dremel to cut them, a hack saw would probably work even better, but it is slower. I really like how they defuse the light from the LED's, so now I dont have points of light I have a nice smooth wash of light over the counter. Three things to keep an eye on, 1) You will receive a few plastic and a few metal mounting brackets, in my application I needed to use nearly all of them so I mixed and matched between the plastic and metal ones. Not sure why there are two different kinds of brackets but if you want to only use the clear plastic ones then make sure you have enough. 2) If you are installing these under the cabinets then make sure the included screws do not go all the way through the upper cabinet base into your cabinets. I ended up purchasing half inch #4 screws and the included screws were just a little too long. 3) If you are using connectors then be aware that they probably wont fit into the channel, so you might need to cut the channel shorter to accommodate the connector.

Seems like quality! Just did an install to replace the porch light and used all 16.5ft. The included mountain clips worked quite well provided you have the right sized screw but that's a quick trip to the hardware store. I installed the 16.4ft RGBWW supernight led strips that are waterproof (encased, thicker than non-waterproof) and while it's a snug fit it worked well. The diffuser helps but if this is in direct view you will see the individual LEDs no problem so they don't diffuse anywhere near 100% but if your installation is out of sight it won't matter.

Buy With Caution
Hue Lightstrips DO NOT fit in these unless you strip off the clear silicone housing that the Lightstrips come in. And the items REEK of some sort of fuel or solvent, as though they were stored in a fuel depot. It's been 3 days and I can still smell it every time I walk into the room. The item itself appears to be of decent quality, but the price is too high.

Hue 2nd generation does not fit in the channels with the diffuser. All pieces and the box it arrived in smelled strongly of some sort of solvent.

Doesn't work with Philips Hue 2nd Gen light strips
These channels are not compatible with the most popular brand of LED strips. As others point out, they are well-made with sturdy construction. (Although honestly, if you spend some time trying to jam the 2nd Gen Hues into them, you will find that the diffuser plastic is somewhat flimsy and tears/scratches easily. But that's not a normal use case.)My two stars are for this incompatibility, together with the bizarre answers provided here by Dropality representatives about how they "should" work.

I ordered these for a project to install a light above my home bar. I used a Philips Hue 2nd gen light strip, modified by soldering an ethernet cable to the light strip connector to extend the distance from the light strip to the controller. The light strip itself fits perfectly into the aluminium channel, however the end connector of the strip is slightly larger and I had to file the channel down for it to slide in as well. I was already anticipating having to modify this as I was only going to use about 16" of the aluminium channel, having to modify the interior was just as easy. The aluminium cuts easy and well if you have the proper tools, and looks great installed.

They look very nice, and are really good quality
I used these with my Philips Hue light strips. They look very nice, and are really good quality. Knocking a star off because while it did come with the clips, it didn't include screws or nails to use with them, and due to the small amount of space in the clips it took a while to find a screw that would work. These are also very expensive, but they made a huge difference in the way that the lights look!

The product is great, however
I ordered 4 boxes of these. The product is great, however, I was only given 4 plastic covers (should have been 5) in one order.
