Just read the Safety Data Sheet for this...chemically it is identical to "Solder It" silver bearing solder and it contains no copper at all. Not complaining though, you get twice as much for nearly 50% less money. It really is great stuff for jewelry and gunsmithing also electronics if you use a solder iron instead of any kind of torch.

Great for Enamel Jewelry Making
I bought this for soldering enameled pieces together when making jewelry. An instructor I had in a torch enameling class had us use this for soldering with a jeweler's torch. It worked very well as the solder can be squeezed exactly where needed and it is lead free.

This product holds well on projects, arrived on time.
This product has gone way up in price probably because it is useful for many things. Plumbing, crafts, jewelry, etc.. It works well bonding plain mild steel to steel, too. The holding power of silver bearing or copper bearing solder is way up over the measly regular solder, up to 20,000 psi!
