However, for those of us who love to cook, it is far better than a novel. For one cannot read it without going away hungry and inspired to close the book and cook. Which may be why it took awhile to read all of it.This book is both memoir and recipe book. So if you just want recipes, reach for another of her books. A wish, of course...the oatmeal raisin cookiesare Crunchy,sweet enough ,great texture and delicious.It looks like Joanne has chosen the recipes for how she likes to eat..All of the recopes look good and are well written.
