Here are delicious sweet and savory chocolate recipes, along with the fascinating story of how North America's first organic and Fair Trade chocolate factory came to be (and why they are so passionate about how their chocolate is made). Theo Chocolate is dedicated to making the world a better place. From bean to bar, Theo Chocolate uses organic ingredients and is committed to Fair Trade practices, working closely with farmers around the world who grow the cocoa beans used in their chocolate. This book not only shares Theo's story and their passion for doing the right thing, but also celebrates the decadent pleasure of enjoying excellent chocolate thanks to 75 recipes to make at home along with full-color photographs throughout. Review: Great book from the best chocolate around. - I. Love. Theo. Their chocolate is amazing. They have seriously ruined the chocolates that I grew up with that were near and dear to my heart. But not anymore! As a huge fan of theirs, I follow them on social media and was so excited when I saw that a week before my wife's birthday their cookbook was coming out! And for only $18?? Did I mention I love Theo? Even if you don't love Theo, this is a great book for making many different types of meals to impress your friends and family. And it has WAY more recipes than dessert. I cannot wait to try some of their savory recipes. So far we have made their pots de creme for a dinner party. They were super easy and delicious. On top of having some really creative recipes, they share a short history of Theo. The pictures are also great for those who just love looking at sexy food pics. Review: A CHOCOLATE COOKBOOK. - OH SNAP. THEO CHOCOLATES. Here's the deal. This thing is not just full of delicious sweet desserts (deserts?) but has some entree and savory type dishes. It is also a beautifully designed cookbook with excellent typesetting, gorgeous photos, and the recipes are good, too. As the title may imply, however, the cookbook is not made of chocolate. But it sure as hell talks a lot about it. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #1,174,327 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #374 in Chocolate Baking #432 in Confectionary Desserts #2,004 in Cooking for One or Two | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 72 Reviews | ## Images ![Theo Chocolate: Recipes & Sweet Secrets from Seattle's Favorite Chocolate Maker - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61vLL4sGo+L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great book from the best chocolate around. *by J***N on November 21, 2015* I. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent, but can be a bit too vague *by E***H on April 10, 2022* “Let cool slightly.” That is an instruction on the brownie recipe. It sounds easy enough, but the next step is to beat in eggs. If “slightly” isn’t enough cooling, the eggs will be cooked and you will have scrambled egg in your brownies. “Cool for x minutes off the heat,” “cool to room temp,” or a more specific “cool to x° F/C” would help provide more consistent results. I got this book for my brother who loves Theo chocolate, but he doesn’t cook as much as I do. I’m excited in the variety of recipes presented, but since he’s not a seasoned cook/baker and I don’t know how he’ll be with terms being a bit incomplete, this may not be as good a gift as I’d hoped. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/18215824-theo-chocolate-recipes-and-sweet-secrets-from-seattles-favorite-chocolate](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/18215824-theo-chocolate-recipes-and-sweet-secrets-from-seattles-favorite-chocolate) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
