This my opinion of the Casio Analog-Digital watch Model AW80 (2747) with a metal band. It packs a lot of features and feels very solid. Other reviewers have pointed out that parts of the case are resin, such as where the band attaches to the watch body. Also, the crystal is plastic and can be easily scratched. I don't wear a watch everyday, so those points are not negatives for me. The complexity of the features requires studying the tiny included printed instruction manual. Fortunately, a quick online search will result in a manual in PDF format that is easier to read. The first thing to do is set the time and date. It's important to note that the analog hands and the digital display must be set separately. Changing one does not change the other. Follow the procedure in the manual. Once they are properly set, the time on both analog and digital sections will stay in sync. The watch band needed to be resized for me. It was too large for my wrist. Again, I had to go to the web and search for instructions on how to resize it which involves removing links. This band is a 'Folded Link' type. I found several videos online with instructions. I have attached pictures that show the clip that must be removed (Letter A) before a link can be taken out. Two clips must be removed to take out one link. Insert a small screw driver into the hole at the bottom of the link and push the clip in the direction of the arrows. The clips on my band did not come out easily. I had to first spread the link opening apart (very slightly) before the clip would come out. After that, I had to fiddle with the links to separate them. Each link will subtract about 3/8 inch from the band. There is a small adjustment area (Letter B) if the fit needs to be fine tuned. Reassemble the links and insert the clips. I used a rubber mallet to fit them back in. At one point in this whole process I had to exert so much force that I thought I would surely bend or break something. It didn't and it ended up to be the proper size for me. Again, look online for complete instructions. This watch suits me and has more features than I will regularly use. It's a low cost watch that doesn't look low cost.

Where shall I start? I bought this $20 watch as a bit of a joke and to see if it could possibly be as good and as versatile as the description claimed. I couldn't imagine a cheap watch being able to keep accurate time and do so many other things--a stop watch, time in two zones, a timer, the date, memos, an alarm and a light to illuminate the analog dial. It has some amount of water resistance, but it isn't a diving watch. The darned thing even has a ten year battery, but I haven't been able to check that yet. It even comes with a reputable name (Casio). Well, it is all true. This watch looks great and the fit and finish is pretty good too. It looks like the watch body is made of stainless steel, but under the metal cover is plastic. That's OK, nobody will notice. In fact, the watch can be an everyday time piece for active play or heavy work. It can also pass the impressive test in a more formal situation. It isn't a dress watch of course, but it does look nice. If you want a fancy watch to wear to the opera or to a a night out an expensive restaurant this is not the watch you want. Of course you knew that because of the general appearance and function of a sports watch like this one. The AW80D-7A is one heck of a buy and it looks like it cost a lot more than it does.

The watch is nice and very light weight, I usually am used to wearing invictas which are bigger watches and heavier, so that being said it is lighter and smaller, setting the time for analog and digital was a bit confusing but I was able to figure it out, I do not understand the Telememo feature and doubt I will use that any way. That all being said nice watch for the price, the only negative I have is taking a link out OMG I YouTube it and still struggled getting links out🤣 this is the only negative as of this writing that I see.

I have worn Timex watches exclusively for the last 20 years. I like the simplicity and durability of them, however, the elastic metal band on my last one failed where it attaches to the watch case in such a way that it had two pointy metal peaks that made it unwearable. I was going to simply replace the band, but it was cheaper to buy a new watch. I looked for something equivalent to what I had but styles have changed and I couldn't find something appealing that matched my pricepoint. Until I found this Casio watch. I debated over the newer plastic-silicone bands, but worried about durability. I am an electrician, and get into some rough environments at work, dirt, dust, construction debris and such. Getting sweaty and dirty wearing a watch can make them smell bad over time(like the stretchy metal band on my old Timex). This Casio has a nice metal band, it seems very durable as well as being easy to close and comfortable to wear. The face and body of the watch is low profile enough to not get in the way at work or wearing work gloves. It is attractive enough to wear as an everyday watch too. The reviews I read prior to purchase were pretty much accurate, the manual is a bit daunting, but it is in several languages so it only requires reading part of it. I had a bit of a challenge getting it set, but eventually I got it right. The light feature flat out is not as good as the Indiglo feature of the Timex watches, but I don't rely on that as much as I thought I would. The glow in the dark feature this watch has is also rather weak, it does work, but has no duration. The telememo feature it has is something I didn't realize it has, but I can't see how it will benefit me. I simply needed a watch that is accurate, easy to read, easy to wear, comfortable, and durable. This watch checks those boxes for me. Overall, this is a budget friendly watch that is well made and easy to wear. For me, the style and durability made it the right choice.

I got this because I needed a watch with at least three alarms but wanted one more dressy (not sporty). This was the only one that fit the bill, especially as most of it is analog (dressier) and not completely digital (too casual). Reducing the band width: easier than I thought, but took about 20 minutes. Used two tools: a pen knife and needlenose pliers. (In the images, someone has put up a photo of how the links look before and after being removed. I also watched a YouTube video). (1) I first put it on and guestimated how many links I would need to remove (2). Then I did the microadjustment (used the tip of the blade to push in the pin and adjust the clip area to the middle, so I could later make it a big wider or narrower later). (2) Pushed out the pins (you have to push out two of the L-shaped pins to remove one link) so they were just barely sticking out. (I don't think I could have pushed it all the way out with the pen knife. Would recommend getting one of those tiny screwdriver like watch tools here--cheap but well worth it), (3) I pulled out the L pins with the needlenose. (4) I inserted the L pins back (and tapped them in flush with the the needlenose). Looks great for my business casual office wear. And would work when I have to wear a suit. When I'm at my desk, I can easily read the time (both analog and digital date). But when I go outside (where I don't wear my reader-computer glasses), I can barely make out the time. This is because of two things: (1) fitting an analog and digital on one face necessarily makes both smaller than if just alone, and (2) the light hands on light background make it even more challenging when there is any sunlight. (And when it's darker, the light is essentially useless). Setting both the times and the alarms are not that difficult, you just have to follow the steps in the manual. In short, I have a hard time telling the time with my new watch! The alarms are fine (but not as loud as my Timex Expedition)--one alerts me when I need to be out the door to go to the train station; the second alerts me when I need to wrap up work to head to the train station, and the other wakes me up 10 minutes before my statin stop (that's why I need at least three alarms). However, when I'm walking to and from the station, I have a hard time telling time. So, overall, doesn't work for me. So for now, I've decided just to keep this at the office (because for me, the metal band is more comfortable, not even noticeble, compared to leather or nylon ones). And it looks more professioal than my field-like Timex watch. However, for my commute, I continue wearing my Timex (plus the alarm is louder), and once I get to the office, I put on this Casio, which I can tell the time because most of the time I have my glasses on. But if you have good vision (and don't wear glasses) this might be for you. It is very stylish.

I NEEDED A NEW WATCH AND AFTER LOOKING IN ALL THE LOCAL STORES, I WENT TO AMAZON. I SHOULD HAVE SAVED MY TIME OF RUNNING AROUND AND GONE THERE FIRST. ANYWAY, THEY HAD THIS CASIO WATCH WHICH I THOUGHT IT LOOKED LIKE A GOOD WATCH AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. I PRICED SOME CASIO WATCHES AND THEY WERE WAY MORE IN THE STORES. THIS WATCH WAS TWENTY DOLLARS AND IT HAS ALL THE THINGS I NEEDED IN A WATCH LIKE THE DAY AND THE DATE, MY MAIN DESIRE. IT LOOKS GOOD, KEEPS GOOD TIME AND THE SHIPPING WAS AMAZING. WITHOUT PAYING EXTRA. I RECEIVED IT IN JUST TWO DAYS. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. IT HAS AN ADJUSTABLE BAND SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE LINKS OUT. THAT WAS A PLUS FOR ME, ALSO. IF YOU NEED A GOOD INEXPENSIVE WATCH, THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY. (THE ORDER WAS IN MY WIFE'S NAME. MY NAME IS ED.) I READ SOME REVIEWS THAT SAID IT WAS VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND THE MANUAL ON SETTING UP THE WATCH'S FUNCTIONS. I DIDN'T FIND IT THAT DIFFICULT. MY WIFE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND I DID THE SETTING IN JUST A FEW MINUTES.

Short version: don't buy this watch! Slightly longer version: don't buy any Casio if you ever want to replace the battery yourself. Long version: When I bought this watch, I was happy with it's appearance and function. However, after 1 week the watch died. I bought a new battery, replaced it, and it still didn't work. So, I called Casio support ([...] The woman asked me who replaced the battery. I told her I did. She informed me (very honestly) that since I replaced the battery myself, that it voids the warranty. However, I can try sending it in for repair, and just not tell them I replaced the battery. According to her, "nobody can change the battery except for Casio, not even a jeweler." Then, after I send it back in, they would write me back a quote. If I decided not to take the quote, it would still cost me $10 to ship the non-functioning watch back to me. Add in the $3-$4 to ship it to them in the first place, and it would cost me bare minimum a $3-$4 "disposal fee." Forget that. I'll just throw this $21.00 watch away.

The AW800-7AV is a silver-grey color scheme, which is a little different than the picture, but aside from that observation, this is a rock-solid little watch.

Volevo dare 4 stelle, ... poi a pensarci, al di là del fatto che la luce notturna non illumina le cifre digitali e che ha tante funzioni che quasi sicuramente non userò mai, non trovo nulla che non vada, è leggero e comodo (il cinturino mi è arrivato di misura, per cui non saprei dire delle difficoltà di cui ho letto su come accorciarlo).... rapporto qualità prezzo direi quindi ottimo... ce l'ho comunque da meno di un mese, quindi il giudizio è per quello che ho sperimentato sin qui. Attenzione: il quadrante non è azzurrino come sembra in foto ma argento.... Ciao
