Well made case for the Fuji X100V
This is a well engineered case for the new (at the time I am writing the review) X 100V fixed lens camera from Fujifilm, Nice leather and a nice finish. Interestingly they do not have a brown leather option (which I prefer) which I had for my X100F. The closure is a popper rather than a magnet, which, again, is not as nice as the magnet closure on the X 100F case. However it fits well and once you adapt to it, it works well enough. I have even got used to the color. The top, front and back remove when you open the case leaving a nice half case style base and protector for the camera (this covers the bottom and sides of the camera). This protects the camera even when the rest of the case is not fitted. You will have to find a place to keep the removed portion of the case when you are using the camera as it does not stay attached to rest of the case when opened. I did not use the strap since I use a Peak wrist strap for my cameras and this fist well with the case. You have access to the battery and SD card when the case is fitted, however you will need to remove the entire case if you want to use a tripod. The only criticism I have (apart from my observations above) is that it is slightly more awkward to remove than the one for the X 100F.Thoroughly recommended.

Stylish Protection for Your X100V
I’ve been using the Fujifilm BLC-X100V case for a few months now, and I’ve got to say, it’s a perfect match for the camera. The leather has a nice, premium feel to it and complements the retro aesthetic of the X100V beautifully. It’s like they were made for each other. What I really appreciate is that it’s not just for looks—it actually protects the camera really well. It fits snugly, and there’s no worry about scuffs or bumps when I’m out shooting. The half-case design means I can still access all the controls, and I don’t have to take it off to swap out the battery or SD card, which is super convenient. The only slight downside is that it’s a bit pricey for a case, but honestly, considering the quality and how well it pairs with the camera, I’d say it’s worth it. If you’re someone who cares about both style and function, this case is definitely worth checking out.

Nice fit, complete protection and looks good.
Nice fitting case on X100V.Does have a chemical smell on first opening but after a couple days it’s almost gone and I can smell more like leather now (did make me wonder at first if it was genuine leather).Only drawback is that when opening to take a picture the whole cover section has to be completely removed and does not stay attached and dangle underneath like previous versions.Looks good and offers complete protection. It fits mine with a the Fuji AR-X100 filter adapter ring and B+W MRC Nano clear filter attached.(The MRC Nano filters are super slim - may not fit with thicker filters)

Not the worst, but definitely not the best
Reasonably well made and of a good thickness to give some assurance of protection, with extra padding on the case interior where it rests against the screen. However, much like the manufacturer's case for the X-Pro3, this case is ill-fitting (mine appears to leave a 1mm gap between the front of the camera), with no access to media ports without full removal of the case. It's also ironic that whilst there is access to the battery, the X100V was sold with only the USB-C cable for charging - which you can't do unless you remove the case. The case will not stay put if you use a wrist strap with the X100V as the design of the case is reliant on securing to the camera via loops that work around the strap lugs. Also, the base of the case does not attach to the bottom of the camera via the tripod thread, which most third-party cases do. This also means that you cannot use this case with a tripod as there is no access to the thread. The only improvement between this and the Fujifilm X-Pro3 case is that there is no metal stud on the inside of the case to potentially misalign and scratch the base of the X100V. The top cover also accommodates the camera when it has the adapter ring and a filter attached, but not the lens hood, though it's a very snug fit.Poor value for money given the poor fit and lack of access to the USB-C port.

Good quality, with a few issues.
I really like this case, you may notice a chemical smell at first but this soon goes away, good quality and nice strap, the negative would be opening and closing the upper case, this is a little tricky and unfortunately unlike previous versions it does not stay attached to the lower half case, previously it would hang below the camera now it’s a separate item to deal with.

Looks fantastic & great camera protection
This case is supplied with a matching strap and has a simply fantastic look and feel. There's extra padded protection on the camera's LCD screen and a neat 'door' in the case provides access to the camera battery and SD Card. I have a JJC filter adapter, JJC 49mm thin UV filter and JJC lens hood. The case will not accommodate the lens hood but will close with the filter adapter and thin filter. A thin filter is essential as I suspect a 'normal' sized filter wouldn't fit. There are three things which I don't like.1) There is no access to the USB-C socket, so I have ordered an external battery charger.2) There is no access to the camera's tripod socket.3) The front of the case has no mechanism for holding it when the cover is opened. You can clip it around the camera strap, but it's not an elegant solution. If I were Fujifilm I would have sent it back to the designer to make a nicer fit and to have a longer snoot which would handle an attached lens hood.
