It's a very durable case, not much thicker than the tablet itself. The only complaint I have is that the angle of the stand makes it difficult to view if there's a light on.j It reflects off the screen. I haven't actively tried the "sleep mode" except when it goes to sleep as a master of routine. But that's not part of the case - that's a function of the tablet. But the stand holds the tablet so I can put up my big digital clock on it. ☺️ Makes a great nightlight!

Grandkids are forever looking for something to lean their tablets against to watch videos. This case with kickstand is durable enough for kids and supports itself in the viewing (landscape) position. The kickstand is the only thing that doesn’t look very tough, but we’ll see how long it lasts. Great price. You will need to buy a screen protector, not included.

Thanks to the good reviews I saw, I bought this product. This is a quality product, fits very nicely to the Fire 7.We have had it a month now, though it hasn't been dropped, I feel confident that if it was, it will survive the fall well.

Case works wonderfully. Fits fire 7" tablet perfectly. If you have an older tablet, the buttons will not fit. If you have purchased the tablet in the last 3 or so years, you will have no problems. Kick stand works great. Protection stands up great. My 8 year old really enjoys this case

Very sturdy and a great way to both protect and hold the device uo for viewing. Material is sturdy.

My 10 year old picked this case for her fire 7 (9th generation). It fit perfectly and so far it has done its job preventing damage to her tablet when dropped.
