Review: Favorite tool - Makes quick work of sheet metal fabrication! I have both the 9” and the 7.25” for different thickness materials. I can rip an 8’ sheet of 1/8” in about 40 seconds, you really can’t beat that! It makes cutting compound angles in tubing super simple. I absolutely love it, not too heavy but very well made. **Q: Would it be possible to cut steel 1/2” thick with this saw?**
A: I cut 1/4” like it’s hot butter I would be very careful trying 1/2”

**Q: Is the blade that comes with this saw also the Evolution brand?**
A: Yes it is.  The blade works good but the saw is junk.  Mine failed after using it for a day and a half.  I bought a Fein Slugger 9" and it has been flawless for a LOT of metal work.

**Q: what is the recommended power supply for this tool..is 220v okay**
A: It’s a 110 volt saw. 220 volts will be sure to let the smoke out of the motor. Not a good ending to your new saw.

**Q: Can this saw cut steel i am looking for a steel cuting saw**
A: I have cut steel as thick as 3\16 with mine. cuts 1/8th plate like butter, as well as tubing, angle iron and c channel.
