I am so VERY happy with this purchase. Do not hesitate if you are considering buying this shelf. I truly don’t understand the bad reviews as it is so cute and EXACTLY as described!! I ordered the gray and the color matches the picture perfectly. 2 of us put it together so it would go faster but all the holes lined up and we had no problems with assembly. It is very sturdy and not cheaply made at all. I would recommend this to ANYBODY looking for a ladder shelf. The whole family love it as well. Worth every penny in my opinion and is PERFECT addition to my office/den. Buy this.....do NOT hesitate!!!!

I have put together many bookshelves, and other furnishings, and this Lavish Home 5 Shelf Ladder Bookshelf- Free Standing Wooden Tiered Bookcase, Brown was very difficult. Many of the holes were not big enough to put the hardware in. One-piece never did get attached because the hole where the screw went in didn't fit. Lucky for me it was a piece that was not critical. After put together it is still pretty wobbly, and I will not be putting too much on it. It also collects dust like it is a magnet. Please don't spend the time ordering this piece of junk! If it wouldn't be so hard to send it back and I didn't spend 3 hours putting it together I would send it back.

I don’t understand the bad review, I’m 71 yrs old and assembled by my self. Easy easy, just seperate each shelf with its small parts and do one by one. Screw sides together, rest on wall, do the bottom and top shelve first, then the middle ones. Study for what I’m using it for. Maybe towels etc. Just what i needed.

Cheap shelf, but does the job if you’re on a budget. No wood grain comes through at all. Medium, universal, gray paint. Sturdy, easy to assemble. Has parts to attach to wall for extra safety.

Looks alright but is kinda wobbly tbh. Like from side to side. Doesn't look like wood really. Looks more like plastic but works how it should and holds everything I put on it.

The holes to screw in the shelves are angled the opposite way so when i screw in the shelf it’s leaning all the way back. YOU HAD ONE FRICKING JOB. I’m short, trash product.

Item is just “okay”. One of the side supports cracked while placing the screw suite together. Not user error; I’ve put many items together over the years, including mastering Ikea furniture. Also missing one screw cover. Bookshelf will work for now, but I don’t expect it to last long.

I was looking for something that didnt take up a lot of space and was stylish. This is perfect and very sturdy. The color matches my vanity. Great product!
