Better than what we had back in the 90s! The filler peanuts are larger than the old tiny balls we had. I love that when my 5 year old unzips the cover out of curiosity that the filler is in a second mesh that seem plenty durable. Haven’t needed to wash it or anything yet. Perfect size for my 5 year old though I can sit on it comfortably too. I did get the larger size for my older boys

Great lounger for my 5ft tall 9 year old son. He sits in it to read and game. Very sturdy. Nice material.

The bean bag isn’t comfortable with the cover on. You have to take the cover of the bean bag off then it’s comfortable.

Fyi, the stuffing comes in a mesh bag and you stuff it into the casing yourself. It's not hard to do. It is a little scary how thin the mesh bag is, like one puncture away from a total disaster of foam beads going everywhere. But we'll see how it holds up. It should be mentioned that it doesn't really have the form shown in the photo. Your back won't have anything to lean on like the way the model is. It's just a basic formless bean bag chair. It's not entirely uncomfortable just for sitting upright on. I am anticipating that my cats will be using it the most, haha.

Did not have a mat bottom just a thin cloth bottom. Thought is was had a closed back, not a open one.
