Love at First Bite: The Unofficial Twilight Cookbook

I bought this book for my mom who is a huge Twilight fan, (I skimmed through it first) and it is absolutely adorable and fun, especially if you love to cook!

Saw the title and got really excited. Couldn't believe they made a cook book for my favorite movie and book franchise. So happy with my decision spent 5 minutes reading the whole things from start to finish. And was laughing my bottom off the whole time. Highly recommend for a good laugh. Glad it was only .99 cents!😅

I bought this cookbook on a whim, and love it. The recipes are fairly easy. I made the mushroom ravoili (uses store bought ravoili and you make the sauce) and my family loved it.Red velvete cake will be made tonight. What I like is that the recipes are not very complicated and used some already made items. The only thing it doesn't have is calorie count, but does provide suggueststion to help cut down calories. If you are watching calories be careful with the recipes. :-)

I ordered this book thinking it would at least highlight the food shown in the movie(s). Especially in the first movie the food looked amazing, my mouth watered almost as much as it did looking at Edward and Jacob LOL! I loved the Garden burger at the diner in Forks (no recipe whatsoever here for it), the awesome looking spinach salad (also at the diner), and the mushroom ravioli she had for dinner with Edward at the hipster looking restaurant in Port Angeles. But what made me furious with the book is they published a recipe for Harry's famous fish fry that was not fried fish!! It was some fish that had no breading and some kind of weird sauce on it. Yeah I really believe they had an unfried, unbreaded sauced fish in the paperback Harry brought over to watch the game with Charlie! Yikes - did the author even watch the movie at all or read the book?!!! Don't do a cookbook if you can't get it right!!!!

I am embarrassed to have made such a stupid purchase. There are very few recipes, which is probably a good thing because they are just wrong--most people know that you don't boil the tortillas with the sauce for 30 minutes before making enchiladas. I'm assuming the book is not written for anyone who actually intends to use the recipes. A picture may be worth a 1000 words, but you won't find any pictures, illustrations or scribbles in this 60-odd page booklet (with usually one inacurrate or mundane receipe per page). If I had written the novels I would be furious at the blatant attempt to capitalize on my talent by selling such garbage by insinuating a relationship. This is not a book that most fans of the "Twilight" series would enjoy or even want in their home. Shame on me for not going to the library, too.

I knew what I wanted and I was hoping this would be it. Yes, it was! Everything I expected it to be any much more. I didn't care much about the quiz but I didn't buy it for the quiz. The dishes sound super tasty and I'm curious if there will be a Unofficial New Moon Cookbook....

My sister in-law LOVES twilight and she cooks quite often. The recipes and the titles for the recipes are inspired by the books and movies. Its a very fun and cute book. Any woman at any age would enjoy it! GREAT GIFT! SHE LOVED IT!

its black and white and you cant see the pictures its like cheap too easy recipes with no picturesi hated it

The Kindle edition only has about 10 pages in it with only a few recipes. I was looking forward to some Twilight themed parties and was very disappointed

Not many recipes in it and doesn't have many thing to do with Twilight.
